Research Of Desktop CNC Engraving Machine

Due to the influence of factors such as numerical control equipment and control system functions,there are some problems in practical teaching of engineering training in many universities.Such as the high price of equipment,poor system openness,only demonstrating system,low opening rate,unable to let students hands-on participation,unable to give play to students' subjective initiative and so on.Not only that,now the traditional machinery has many problems,such as large volume,high energy consumption,noise,is not convenient for the processing of diversified personalized products.In view of the present situation,this topic proposed to develop a low cost and convenient teaching of small desktop CNC engraving machine.On the basis of summarizing the research and development of machine tools at home and abroad,this project proposes to develop a low-cost machine tool according to the development direction of the existing CNC.Referring to the existing structure of engraving machine in the market,a three-axis linkage system structure is studied.The main design scheme,assembly and debugging have been carried out successively.This desktop CNC engraving machine is controlled by computer,driven by stepper motor.A low-cost control system GRBL is used to drive the three-axis stepper motor and the spindle rotation of CNC machine tools.Through the GRBL transmission software,it can be transmitted to the machine tool for processing.Through two typical examples,pattern text,personalized chemical parts,it is finally proved that the machine tool can meet the use requirements.The using of this kind of desktop CNC machine tool can solve many difficulties in CNC teaching.This machine is very convenient to disassemble and reassemble for students,which is a breakthrough to improve the quality of teaching.At the same time,it can also provide a reference for the researchers of enterprises and institutions.It can be used by some entrepreneurs.It can make some small Arts and gifts.It can process many non-metallic materials,such as wood,plastic,two-color board,synthetic crystal,horn,cardboard,density board etc.The research shows that the engraving machine has certain practicability.
