In recent years, the general aviation industry has developed rapidly, but accidents in general aviation occur frequently. The occurrence of navigational accidents or unsafe events is caused by more than a single factor, such as poor management regulations, poor personnel safety awareness, and lack of business skills, etc. In fact, there are many dangerous sources that threaten the safety of the operation during the navigation operation.Only solve the problem from the root can we prevent accidents or unsafe incidents more effectively. Therefore,it is necessary to start from the dangerous sources, analyze and evaluate the risk factors which have a impact on the general aviation operation safety.According to the actual situation of surveying, this article collects and sorts the dangerous sources, and then explores the risk factors that affect the safety of general aviation operations, and analyzes them.Due to the complexity of personnel and environment in the operation of general aviation, coupled with the uncertainty of aircraft factors, and the correlation between various factors, the danger sources are more complicated. In order to solve this problem, this research uses SD card data as a basis to discover the source of danger, refer to the regulations, the risk factors affecting the safety of general aviation operations are divided into three categories: people, aircraft, and environment.Research has been conducted on eight aspects through factor analysis, including the degree of cooperation between personnel, personnel experience and ability, the degree of stress,MEL terms, aircraft status and usage, aircraft attributes, natural environment, and man-made environment. Thus, optimizing and improving the index system of risk assessment on general aviation operation safety.By combining the G1 method with the expert investigate statistical method, weighting the established indicators. In view of the fact that the risk factor of general aviation operation safety is not linear and changes at any time,a structural equation is determined to evaluate the risk of general aviation operation safety. After a brief introduction to the structural equation theory,a research hypothesis is proposed,a path map of general aviation operation safety risk is constructed, and the standardized parameter estimates of the general aviation operation safety risk assessment structural equation model are derived with the help of AMOS 21.0 software. The model was revised andtested by adopting the method of modified index, and finally a model of general aviation operation safety risk assessment and corresponding path coefficients is constituted. The results show that the man-made environment, the degree of stress, and personnel experience and ability are likely to affect the safe operation of general navigation, and the corresponding path coefficients are respectively 0.93,0.90,0.89.At the same time, exposing the correlation between various factors. The research in this article can provide a theoretical basis for the development of the aviation industry safety. It will help general navigation operators to self-evaluate and locate in operation, strengthen management, and ensure the operation of general navigation safely and efficiently.
