Development And Properties Of Viscose-based Composite Functional Fabrics

Abstract/Summary:
As a new type of green fiber,wormwood modified bamboo pulp fiber is made by adding wormwood extract to ordinary bamboo pulp fiber,which gives the fiber wormwood the antibacterial,deodorant and mites removal effects.And it improves the fiber use value on the basis of retaining the original performance of bamboo pulp fiber.Photochromic viscose filaments are a new type of viscose filament with a unique color changing function,and the filaments have an anti-ultraviolet effect to a certain extent.This project applies antibacterial wormwood modified bamboo pulp fiber and photochromic filament to fabric development,and designs a composite functional fabric with photochromic,antibacterial and anti-UV,which meets the needs of the current textile market and provides technical reference for the development of green functional fabric.This project selects the wormwood modified bamboo pulp fiber of Hebei Jiyu Chemical Fiber Co.,Ltd.and the photochromic filament of Henan Xinxiang Bailu Chemical Fiber Co.,Ltd.as the main raw material.The structure,moisture regain and basic properties of wormwood modified bamboo pulp fiber and photochromic viscose filament were tested and analyzed.It is concluded that the performance of wormwood modified bamboo pulp fiber are better than that of ordinary viscose fiber,which is suitable for blended yarn development;the strength of photochromic viscose filament is lower,which is not suitable for single yarn weaving.According to the basic properties of wormwood modified bamboo pulp fiber,six kinds of blended yarn of 30 / 70,40 / 60,50 / 50,60 / 40,70 / 30 and 80 / 20 were developed by ring spinning.The twist,moisture regain,tensile property,hairiness index,evenness and antibacterial property of the blended yarn were tested and analyzed.At last,the grey cluster analysis method is used to evaluate the blended yarn.The results show that the blended yarn with 60 / 40,70 / 30 and 80 / 20 is the best,and the yarn with 70% wormwood modified bamboo fiber is the best.The blended yarn with 60%,70% and 80% wormwood modified bamboo pulp fiber and photochromic viscose filament are selected for weaving.According to the requirements of fabric properties,three kinds of knitted fabrics were designed to meet the functional requirements.Nine kinds of knitted fabrics were woven by Stoll CMS530 HP automatic computerized flat knitting machine.The relationship of fabric thickness,surface density and weight per unit area of three kinds of fabrics: Swiss dot fabric < "two-faced pie" < microporous structure.The proportion relationship of the content of blended yarn in three kinds of structures: Swiss dot fabric> microporous structure > "two-faced pie" structure.The durability,comfort,style and function of the fabric were tested and analyzed.Based on the analysis of the basic mechanical properties and comfort properties of the fabric,it is concluded that the best structure of the fabric with strong elongation,bursting strength,wear resistance,air permeability and moisture permeability is the Swiss dot fabric;the test and analysis of fabric appearance performance and style showed that the optimal fabric structure of wrinkle recovery angle,thermal conductivity,compression recovery rate and other properties was microporous fabric;the test and analysis of fabric function conclude that the "two faced" fabric has the best UV resistance because of its compact structure and moderate thickness;according to the analysis of the content of wormwood modified blended yarn in the fabric and the proportion of wormwood modified bamboo fiber in the blended yarn,the Swiss dot fabric with 80% wormwood modified bamboo fiber content has the best antibacterial performance and meets the national standard requirements.Using the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,the wearability and function of nine fabrics were evaluated.The results showed that the microporous structure of wormwood modified bamboo pulp yarn with 80% fiber content is the best,which is suitable for the development of composite functional fabrics.
