The petroleum engineering technology service industry is a high-risk industry and is greatly affected by oil price fluctuations.Since 2014,the international oil price has plummeted and the world has returned to the period of low oil prices. The sharp drop in E&P investment by oil companies has caused the oil engineering technical service industry to suffer a heavy blow. This article hopes to study Halliburton's profit model under different oil price environments and provide reference and inspiration for the development of China Petroleum Engineering Service Corporation. This paper creatively constructs a three-dimensional profit model analysis system based on financial perspective business model theory, profit factor theory and value chain theory. That is,the analysis system based on value creation is the main line, and the analysis of the value chain and the analysis of profitability factors are additional lines. The ultimate goal of an enterprise is to realize value creation, which is consistent with the goal of using the profit model, while profit-driven and resource allocation are the means and basis for realizing value creation. On this basis, this article takes Halliburton as the research object, compares it with Schlumberger and Baker Hughes, takes value creation as the core starting point, and analyzes Halliburton's profit model from profit-driven,resource allocation, and value creation. At last,it provides a series of suggestions for the development of China Petroleum Engineering and Technical Service Company. The study found that Halliburton is a technical service-oriented enterprise with customer first, abundant capital, efficient operation, advanced technology, excellent employees, and mature business chain.Halliburton's core competitiveness lies in advanced technology and integrated business.
