The thesis mainly reported chemical constituents on there plants of medicinal plants in Yunnan province,Alstonia scholaris,Alstonia macrophylla,Bothrocaryum controversum.Totally 35 compounds were isolated by silica gel chromatography and Sephadex LH-20 chromatography from the these plants.The structures of these compounds were identified by NMR,MS and their physico-chemical data.13 alkaloids were isolated and described from the twigs and leaves of Alstonia scholaris.The compounds were scholarinine A(1),echitamidine(2),scholaricine(3),tubotaiwine(4),khasuanine A(5),vallesamine(6),strictamine(7),picrinine(8),tetrahydroalstonine(9),vellosimine(10),benzamide(11),methoxybenzamide(12),2-phenylacetamide(13).Compounds 1,an unprecedented N3-type caged monoterpene indole alkaloid featuring with a unique 6/5/6/5/5/6 hexacyclic system and a novel imidazolidine moiety.Compounds 5,9-13 were separated from A.scholaris for the first time.8 compounds were isolated and described from the twigs and leaves of Alstonia macrophylla.The types of structures were included alkaloids and triterpenes.The identified compounds were alstoniascholarine B(14),alstonerine(15),picrinine(16),scholaricine(17),Nb-demethylalstophyuine oxindole(18),villalstonine(19),macralstonine(20),(24R)-24-ethyl-5α-cholestan-3β,5-diol-6-one(21).Compounds 21were firstly isolated from the A.macrophylla.14 compounds were isolated and described from the twigs and leaves of Bothrocaryum controversum.The types of structure included triterpenes,sterol,flavonoids and monophenyl ring.The compounds were quercetin(22),3-O-methylquercetin(23),fustin(24),epicatechin(25),catechin(26),quercetin-3-rhamnoside(27),prunetin(28),5,7-dihidroxi-2’,4’-dimetoxiisoflavone(29),isoliquiritigenin(30),obtusol(31),lupeol acetate(32),sitosterol(33),daucosterol(34),benzoic acid(35).All the compounds were isolated from the genus Cornaceae for the first time.At the end of the paper reviewed the chemical components and biological activities of Alstonia scholaris plants and reviews the names,structures,biological activities and sources of 124 compounds.
