Research On Small-sized Sofa Design Based On Scenario Analysis

This paper starts from the problem of existing small-sized sofas,and integrates the elements of sofa,occupants and use environment into a unified framework for comprehensive analysis,constructs representative future use scenarios,explores potential needs of users,and enables small-sized units.The sofa is both functional and user-friendly.This paper mainly uses the scenario analysis method as the theoretical basis to guide the design practice of the small-sized sofa in the later stage.First,through the case study and user research,the components of the "human-sofa-environment" system are organized;secondly,the three-dimensional scene space with the product,user and environment as the axis is constructed,and the constituent elements are sorted according to the weight,and the coordinates are marked.Find and design corresponding scenes at key points in the scenario space,make the relationship between the elements three-dimensional,help to understand the relationship between the various elements and the impact on the situation;then separate the environment and people The interaction between people and products,the interaction between environment and products is analyzed as a narrow context,using ergonomics,design psychology,product semantic analysis and other methods to extract key elements and determine design opportunities.Finally,design practice is carried out in combination with design opportunity points and small-sized sofa design elements(human machine,color,materials,structure).Using scenario analysis,the abstracted and fragmented elements can be gradually embodied and visualized,and the product design guidelines are combined to determine the demand for new products.Through this design research,it can stimulate the potential demand while satisfying the existing needs of users.At the same time,it is expected that this paper can provide some theoretical references for the innovative design of small-sized furniture in the future.
