As an important ecological function area in China and even in the world, the increasing carbon emissions threaten the ecological security of the region. With the development of economy and society, traffic carbon emissions have become the main reason for the increase of carbon emissions in the region. Therefore,it is of great significance to study regional traffic carbon emissions.Firstly, according to the method provided by IPCC National Greenhouse Gas Inventory Guidelines in 2006,according to the characteristics of each sector and the degree of data acquisition in Sanjiangyuan area, energy, industrial process and product use, agriculture, forestry and other land use are calculated.Waste is mainly divided into four major categories of greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time, the carbon emissions of highways, railways and civil aviation from 2008 to 2017 are calculated. Then the LMDI method is used to analyze the factors of traffic carbon emissions in the source area of the Three Rivers from four aspects: energy structure effect, energy intensity effect, economic output effect and population scale effect. The results show that the economic output effect is the most significant in terms of average contribution rate. From the annual trend of change, energy structure effect has gradually replaced population size effect as the most important factor affecting traffic carbon emissions in the source areas of the Three Rivers.Secondly, the study of low-carbon transportation system is carried out for the complex and changeable regional transportation system.Entropy method is used to assign weight to 12 indicators of low-carbon transportation system in Sanjiangyuan area, and grey relational evaluation method is used to evaluate it.The results show that the low-carbon level in Sanjiangyuan area has declined year by year from 2008 to 2017.More funds need to be invested in transportation construction, strengthening the construction of public transport facilities, promoting the combination of various modes of transportation and strengthening it.Energy saving and emission reduction to establish a regional low-carbon transportation system, promote the intensive use of resources and ecological environmental protection goals. Finally, the LEAP model is used to analyze energy consumption scenarios for long-term scenarios. The scenarios are divided into benchmark scenarios, development scenarios and emission reduction scenarios.Carbon emissions from 2015 to 2030 under different scenarios are analyzed. Results Suggestions were put forward from six aspects: energy structure, traffic structure, traffic planning, economic development, policy measures and technological development. It provides feasibility for the improvement of ecological environment in Sanjiangyuan area in the future. As an important ecological function area in China and even in the world, the increasing carbon emissions further threaten the ecological security of the region. With the development of economy and society, traffic carbon emissions have become the main reason for the increase of carbon emissions in the region. Therefore,it is of great significance to study regional traffic carbon emissions. Finally,we use LEAP model, that is,long-term scenario energy consumption model,to understand the carbon dioxide emissions in the Sanjiangyuan region from 2015 to 2030 under different scenarios.Construct low-carbon transportation system in Sanjiangyuan area.Suggestions are put forward from six aspects: energy structure, traffic structure, traffic planning, economic development, policy measures and technological development. It provides feasibility for the improvement of ecological environment in Sanjiangyuan area in the future.
