Large centrifugal compressor units are widely used in modern petrochemical industry as a key core equipment.Such equipment generally has the characteristics of high speed,large flow,and high power.Once an abnormal shutdown occurs due to a fault or accident,it will inevitably affect the normal operation of the entire device and upstream and downstream.Lanzhou Petrochemical Company currently has a large number of centrifugal compressor units in use for a long time(some equipment has been running continuously for nearly 20 years).In recent years,due to the stability and reliability of the unit’s operating state detection components,the interlocking false alarm phenomenon has become more and more common.Some key signals have been involved in the whole body,causing compressor shutdowns and further affecting the normal process of upstream and downstream production.Based on the specific working conditions of the production equipment of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company,this paper takes the actual faults occurring during the operation of the centrifugal compressor unit as the research object,and combines the existing technical means from the signal detection component,the interlock trigger mode and the control system program.Three aspects of research were carried out to find out the cause of the instrument affecting the stable operation of the centrifugal compressor unit,that is,the equipment aging caused by the on-site detection of components after long-term use,the initial interlocking protection trigger logic of the equipment is not forward-looking and present.The potential of the control system has not been fully developed.The above problems affect each other and eventually cause the centrifugal compressor unit to frequently stop abnormally due to instrumentation during operation.Based on the clarification of existing problems,this paper proposes solutions in a targeted manner.The specific implementation process includes hardware improvement and software improvement.The electronic detection component upgraded by the technology is used to replace the original mechanical detection component,and the data acquisition mode and the interlock determination mode are optimized in the control system to improve the accuracy of the interlocking action triggering.At the same time,based on the software foundation of the existing control system,the development of the centrifugal compressor interlocking anti-misoperation program is pioneered,and the new judgment function is added to the reliability of the unitinterlock detection signal,and the existing equipment is deeply dug.potential.The successful implementation of the above improvement effectively reduces the occurrence probability of the malfunction of the centrifugal compressor unit interlocking due to the problem of the field instrument detecting component itself,and achieves a good improvement effect.The paper further refines the maintenance and installation rules of the unit-related instrument testing equipment,and provides guidance for the maintenance and repair of large units.Through the gradual implementation of the above series of improvement measures,on the one hand,the frequency of faults is effectively reduced,the reliability of the unit operation is improved,and the problem of safe,stable and long-term operation of large centrifugal compressor units and similar key equipment is provided new ideas.
