Reactive dye was a kind of dyes containing active groups.These dyes and fibers undergo covalent bonding during the dyeing process.It had the advantages of bright color,complete chromatography,excellent moisture retention,simple process,and low price.Therefore,reactive dyestuff was popular among application departments and consumers,and had become the main dyestuff variety.Reactive dyes could be classified into X type,K type,KN type,M type,KE type and P type depending on the type of active groups.These dyes had formed industrial-scale production in China.Reactive red 2BF was one of M-type ternary colors.Reactive red 2BF was widely used in the dyestuff market,almost every reactive dye manufacturer had produced.Although the active red 2BF process was relatively stable and mature,there were still some problems in actual production.For example,the relative intensity of dyes was not high,and the relative fixation rate and yield were low.This subject came from Zhejiang Yide Chemical Co.,Ltd..Reactive red 2BF was the largest product in the Red Series products of YiDe Company.There were problems such as low intensity and insufficient yield.The main reason was that there were many side reactions during the synthesis reaction..Therefore,this paper planed to improve the strength and yield of products by optimizing the synthesis conditions and reducing the generation of by-products in synthesis.The specific experimental scheme was as follows:(1)Through the optimization of reaction conditions for different synthesis routes for condensation reactions,such as condensation reaction temperature,pH value and Molar ratio of cyanuric chloride,para ester and H acid,to increase the purity of the condensate and select the optimal condensation process.(2)Through the study on the diazo reaction of 2-naphthylamine-1,5-disulfonic acid,such as the molar ratio of sodium nitrite to 2-naphthylamine-1,5-disulfonic acid,reaction temperature,reaction time,to increase diazo reaction conversion rate.(3)By optimizing the coupling reaction conditions,such as the coupling temperature,the coupling pH value,molar ratio(molar ratio of cyanuric chloride to STA)and the solid content of the reactant,to improve the dye strength and yield.Through the above experiments,the results showed that:(1)By optimizing the comparison of condensation conditions,the preferred synthesis route was para-ester condensation and H-acid condensation.The purity of the SC could reach 88.69%.(2)By optimizing the diazo coupling conditions,the purity of the coupling product increased from 84.33% to 87.25%,the dye intensity increased from 171% to 183%(Yide company standard),and the yield of the product increased from 14.2 to 15(with cyanuric chloride as the benchmark)and the yield increased by about5.6%.According to the optimized synthesis process and the existing equipment of the enterprise,the original annual output of 3000 T workshop was designed and reformed,and the new production process,process flow chart and equipment layout were compiled.The trial production data after the reconstruction showed that the new production process product quality was normal,the production capacity was expanded to 3600 T per year,and the comprehensive cost of reactive red 2BF decreased by about 1.12 yuan /kg..In a word,this paper optimized the production process of reactive red 2BF,improves the dye strength and product yield,reduces product cost,and thus improves the competitiveness of reactive red 2BF in the market.
