Pyrotechnics are widely used composite energetic materials,it reaction can proceed continuously since its own redox reaction can occur without external oxygen supplying.which are widely used in military and non-military fields.They are characterized by combustion that produces special pyrotechnic effects such as heat,smoke,light and sound.In recent years,pyrotechnic cutting technology has developed rapidly in China as a new type of cutting technology,playing a very important role in national economic construction and contemporary high-tech warfare.It uses the thermal and aerodynamic effects of pyrotechnics to achieve metal cutting.The pyrophoric pyrotechnic charge is released by a specific device to form a high-temperature,high-pressure metal jet.Since the metal fluid has a very high temperature and speed,when the metal fluid acts on the metal target,The metal object is continuously ablated and washed in a short time to realize the cutting of the metal target.In recent years,with the increasing difficulty of China's petroleum exploration and development,the special cutting technology can solve the accidents of drill pipe and tubing being stuck which has increased frequently year by year quickly.There are some disadvantages of the traditional special cutting technology,such as large diameter of the cutting device,large incision flanging,inconvenient transportation and storage etc.This paper has carried out further research in the basic composition and selection principle of pyrotechnic cutting drugs,formula testing,production process research,cutting device design and application.A pyrotechnic formula for the purpose of cutting is designed.At the same time,an oil and gas well pyrotechnic cutting device is designed,which can realize the cutting and unloading of the metal pipe string in the oil and gas well.The utility model has the advantages of fast cutting speed,simple operation,no explosion,toxic and harmful gas in the operation process,causing harm to the environment and personnel;and due to the thermal effect and pneumatic property of the pyrotechnics,the cut metal column is cut.Neat,no ups and turns,creating favorable conditions for subsequent operations.
