Research On Progress Management Of Desulfurization And Denitration Engineering Project Of JH Thermal Power Plant

With the economy of China rapidly grows,its power industry,which has provided basic support for development since the 1990 s,has made great progress in terms of industrial scale and management efficiency.Its consumption of coal has brought severe environmental pressures,so "green" use of coal resources shall be considered.Though China central government has plans on how to cleanly use the coal and local governments are also highly concerned about how companies can achieve cleaner production and reduce pollution.Many relevant research institutions have conducted in-depth research and exploration.but it still lacks knowledge on how to carry out such engineering management practices at the enterprise level.SBW Design Institute is an engineering company with the design and general contracting qualification of desulfurization and denitrification environmental protection projects in thermal power plants.Its difficulties encountered by the SBW Design Institute in the design of the desulfurization and denitrification project of the JH thermal power plant were: The environmental protection compliance project of the thermal power plant is new to the SBW Design Institute and it was not well prepared in relevant professionals as the projects previously undertaken by the Design Institute were mostly from the chemical industry.However,the SBW Design Institute completed the design of the JH environmental protection project on time and in time by improving the progress management by studying the project characteristics.Many firms similar to SBW also lacks experience in such projects,and they are still at a low level in dealing with projects like JH.Their progress management processes and systems need to be improved.This study detailed the various aspects of the project,and it also used the relevant theories in project management to study progress management of the project,and summarized successful experience of the SBW Design Institute.This study clarifies the risk and refines the responsibility system in the design of JH project.By strengthening project management,the project implementation progress was improved.This study also provides management reference for the firms that may implement similar projects in the future.
