The drastic fall in oil prices since 2014 has had a huge impact on the oil and gas extraction industry.However,the huge progress in the exploration and development of shale gas in Sichuan has brought new opportunities to oilfield service companies.L company is a newly established oilfield service company and encountered a market during its development.R & D and human resource bottlenecks,in order to seize the opportunity of new shale gas development,need to design the business model,break the bottleneck,and achieve rapid development.The concept of business model is used to help companies solve the problem of lasting profitability and the innovation.The emergence of business model design templates has greatly helped the establishment and optimization of business models.With the change of the environment,the business model will gradually weaken,so the business model is a dynamic concept that needs continuous optimization and adjustment to adapt to changes in the environment.According to the business model design and optimization template,using the business model canvas,the paper takes L company as an example to study the business elements and their combination of oilfield service companies in a complex and changeable environment.The purpose is to design the formation of business models to adapt to the market environment.Keep the company stand out from the competition.Through careful analysis of the actual situation of L company and market environment,starting from the aspects of customer work,pain points and benefits,put forward the L company's value proposition: to provide shale gas exploration and development to provide cost-reduction and efficiency enhancement products and services.L company's market segment is the main body of shale gas exploration and development engineering technology,and the channel is divided into self-owned and cooperative modes,mainly based on its own channels,customer relationship bidding,exclusive customers,and strategic cooperation.The exclusive customer is Current major customer relationships.The company's core resources are knowledge,including the company's R&D team,laboratories,and intellectual property.The core business of the company consists of problem presentation,solution preparation,communication and promotion,production and implementation,effect evaluation,and settlement payment.They constitute a value circle.The promotion and implementation of the company's value proposition is inseparable from the research institutes.The important cooperation between the institute,supplier and government.In order to ensure the optimization of L's business model,Company L has strengthened its R&D efforts,adjusted the composition of its human resources,organizational structure,and integrated its market sectors.The company started from the "Amoeba" business model,through the subdivision project,fine accounting methods,mobilized the awareness of staff participation,with the performance appraisal,incentive and restraint mechanisms to improve the company's operating efficiency and reduce costs.Practice has proved that the overall business model designed after L company is scientific and reasonable,and has achieved better business performance,confirming that the business model research method formed in this study is feasible and worthy of similar enterprise learning.
