Abstract/Summary:
Since the implementation of the 12 th five-year plan,China’s coking industry has taken on many challenges as well as great opportunities.The demand for oil in the domestic market continues to grow,and high value-added products continue to be produced.The coal coking industry,characterized by low resource utilization and high consumption,brings high emissions and high pollution,bringing urgent need of structural reform.Under these recent developments,Hongyang Coking Co.,Ltd.,a medium-sized coal coking enterprise,seeks to improve their human resource management level to remain competitive in the market.As an important part of human resource management,performance appraisal plays a crucial role in improving the core competitiveness of any coal coking enterprises.While reading performance management literature and studying performance management theories,I collected data on enterprises through face-to-face conversations,questionnaire surveys,and field research.I began by analyzing the company’s basic situation,organizational structure,personnel composition and current status,of which many problems were found in the existing employee performance assessments,such as unclear assessment objectives,unscientific assessment indicators,limited examinee and old assessment methods.Second,according to the company’s strategic goals,this paper-trail identified the purpose,principles and ways of the employee performance appraisal optimization program,design the system at different levels,optimize the standard,process and result application.Last,a series of guarantees will be proposed to anal yze the expected effect of the optimized program.I hope this paper can improve the performance on a managerial level and financial performance of the company to some extent,improving the company ’s performance in the market.At the same time,I hope it co uld give reference for small and medium-sized enterprises in this industry,giving ample room for market growth in the face of market leaders.
