The mountainous area in the eastern part of Liaoning Province consists of the Changbai Mountain and the Qianshan branch.The water vapor trend is consistent with the terrain trend,which often becomes a center of heavy rain,causing frequent mountain flood disasters and posing a serious threat to the lives and property of local people.Therefore,investigating the status of mountain rivers,analyzing the causes and characteristics of mountain flood disasters,exploring appropriate engineering treatment programs,summarizing general engineering measures,is of great significance for the prevention and control of mountain flood disasters in the eastern mountainous areas of Liaoning Province.This study selected the Helangou River in Helan Town,Liaoyang County,Liaoyang City,Liaoning Province as the research object.The river is a tributary of the Tanghe River.It is a typical mountainous river in eastern Liaoning Province.The river channel is larger than that of the river.Large,water cuts under the riverbed,easily causing riverbanks to redeem.Before the treatment,there was no system protection in the river,and the river was seriously silted,the flooding was blocked,the erosion was serious,and the bank slope was extremely unstable,which seriously endangered the people's safety on both sides of the river.By collecting meteorological and hydrological data from the Heliugou River Basin,the relationship between design flood level,design flow rate and water level flow is calculated,and the characteristics of the flood process of the Helugou River are analyzed.By collecting the geological survey data of the Heliugou River,the structure and distribution characteristics,physical and mechanical properties,bearing capacity characteristic values and allowable hydraulic gradient of the shore canopy were analyzed.On the basis of these,the key points and measures that can be taken for the prevention and control of mountain torrents in the Helangou River are proposed,and a specific treatment plan has been formed.According to the results of basic data analysis,detailed calculation and design of river dredging project,dike reinforcement project,flood wall engineering,bank protection project,ecological bank protection project,drainage pipe setting and water pavement engineering in the flood control project of Helangou River were carried out..After the implementation of the project,the effects of governance were investigated,and the general applicability measures for mountain floods in mountainous rivers were summarized.The research results show that the Helangou River is suitable to improve flood control standards through dredging works and dyke reinforcement projects,stabilize the river bank through concrete retaining wall works and stone cages and green shore pad projects,and improve the ecological effects of rivers by planting trees and grasses.After the implementation,the project has obvious effects,which provides a flood barrier for Helan Town while improving the ecological environment and promoting harmony between people and water.For mountainous rivers in eastern Liaoning Province,it is advisable to use bank protection measures such as masonry and stone cages,supplemented by biological measures for comprehensive treatment.
