Research On The Impact Of Environmental Accounting Information Disclosure On Enterprise Performance In Chemical Industry

With the rapid development of China's economy,there are more environmental pollution accidents and increasingly serious environmental problems.Therefore,the government has issued a series of environmental protection policies and measures to achieve social,economic and environmental sustainable development.In the process of social development,enterprises are both the creator of social wealth and the culprit of environmental destruction.As a member of society,enterprises should shoulder their social responsibility in economic development and environmental protection to achieve sustainable development.The disclosure of environmental accounting information is the main form in which an enterprise reports its environmental social responsibility to stakeholders.The active disclosure of environmental accounting information by enterprises will promote enterprises to improve their environmental management level under external public supervision,and it will establish a good image of themselves,facilitate information users to make decisions with information,increase consumers' purchasing behavior and increase the sales revenue and profit of enterprises.Finally it will improve enterprise performance.Therefore,on the basis of previous studies on environmental accounting information disclosure and enterprise performance of listed companies,it is of certain theoretical and practical significance to study the impact of environmental accounting information disclosure of listed companies in chemical industry,a typical representative of heavy pollution industry in China,on enterprise performance.On the basis of reading and sorting out relevant domestic and foreign literature,this paper starts from elaborating relevant theories,first qualitatively analyzing the impact of environmental accounting information disclosure on enterprise performance,and then analyzing the current situation of environmental accounting information disclosure of listed companies in chemical industry.The results show that the environmental accounting disclosure of listed companies in China's chemical industry is improving year by year,but the overall performance is still poor.In view of this,this article selects the A shares of the Shanghai chemical industry in 2015-2017 financial data of listed companies as samples.Then it uses descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis method,and divides the enterprise performance into financial performance and environmental performance.Subsequently,empirical studies on correlation were conducted.The research results show that the level of environmental accounting information disclosure can significantly promote the financial performance and environmental performance of enterprises.In order to further verify the accuracy of theoretical hypothesis and empirical results,this paper selects Juhua shares for case analysis.Finally,on the basis of summarizing the empirical results and case analysis,this paper puts forward some specific Suggestions from the enterprise level and government regulation level.
