| The export of silverware in the Qing Dynasty mainly refers to the silverware sold to Europe,America and India in the past 100 years before and after the Opium War.Silverware has been scattered overseas and was once dusted by history.Until the end of the last century,the Chinese knew little about silverware.There was no inscription on the early export of silverware,so Westerners have always mistakenly believed that this was produced in Western countries.In recent years,with the export of silverware to the domestic market gradually,some collectors will purchase a batch of exquisite export silverware from overseas to tour the country,which has aroused the attention and interest of the cultural,academic and national people.Before this,due to the lack of silverware in the China,and the study of exporting silverware was mainly Western scholars,there were few systematic studies in China.This paper takes the export silverware in the late Qing Dynasty as a research object,and takes the sociology of art as the research method to analyze the economic and social significance and artistic value of the exported silverware.First of all,this paper analyzes the historical environment of the export of silverware in the Qing Dynasty.There are many factors in the formation of the export silverware industry in the Qing Dynasty.It is influenced by the global silver trade and by the “Chinese hot” fashion of Western countries.It is also closely related to the customs trade policy of the Qing government.This paper mainly analyzes the background of the formation of silverware for export in the Qing Dynasty from the perspective of economy,society and culture.The customs trade policy of the Qing government has become an important factor influencing the formation of the export silverware industry.The rise of the export silverware industry marks the formation of the industrial chain in the Qing Dynasty,and successfully opened up overseas markets.In the Qing Dynasty,the export of silverware was combined with the unique Chinese traditional ornamentation in the form of a Western-style utility,forming a unique style of “Westernized Chinese Style”.It not only bears the spiritual connotation of Chinese traditional culture,but also the historical testimony that Chinese culture has caused the trend of all walks of life in Western countries.The inscription of the exported silverware in the Qing Dynasty is very rich and has valuable cultural value.The exquisite craftsmanship is the testimony of the craftsmanship of the silverware of the Qing Dynasty and the spirit of Chinese artisans.The characteristics of the distinctive era means that the exporting silverware industry and artisans in the Qing Dynasty have certain product protection awareness and commercial value,reflecting the process of cultural exchanges between China and the West.The export of silverware in the Qing Dynasty not only has economic and social significance,but also its decorative ornamentation has a strong cultural significance.This article is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly clarifies the research purpose,significance,existing literature research results and specific research methods.The first chapter briefly analyzes the historical conditions and social conditions of global silver trade,and how it provides the environment and basic conditions for the generation of export silverware in the Qing Dynasty.The second chapter introduces the western-style shape of Chinese silverware and the traditional Chinese ornamentation in the Qing Dynasty.The third chapter explains the craft value and aesthetic value of the exported silverware in the Qing Dynasty,and extends the spiritual connotation of Chinese traditional culture carried by it.The fourth chapter examines the export of silverware in the Qing Dynasty from the perspective of history and reality.The significance of studying the export of silverware in the Qing Dynasty is that on the one hand,it can arouse the awareness of inheritance and protection of relevant industries and institutions,on the other hand,it can reveal the exporting silverware of the Qing Dynasty to provide reference and enlightenment for contemporary art,culture and technology and social life. |
