The research on the early Chinese gold and silver ware and related issues was a continuing concern of the academic community since the end of the last century.Before the Han Dynasty in Gansu,the gold and silver wares took the lead nationwide in terms of the time of appearance,the type of artifacts unearthed,and even the level of craftsmanship.The earliest known gold and silver devices in China are unearthed in the tomb of Huoshengou,Yumen,Gansu Province.At the same time,Gansu region is also one of the earliest areas in which gold and silver personal ornaments appeared,and the earliest Chinese gold,silver and silver artifacts were unearthed.The Liu Shui Tombs in Qingshui,the Majiayan Cemetery in Zhangjiachuan,and the Leitai Han Tombs in Wuwei also represented gold and silver ornaments and gold and silver horse carts,which represented the highest levels of gold and silverware production and decoration.This article is a review of the types of gold and silver objects unearthed before the Han Dynasty in the Gansu region,their crafts,and artistic styles,and the cultural exchanges between China and the West as well as the specific regional culture and gold and silver devices behind the gold and silver devices,as well as the early gold and silver devices in Gansu Province.Think about value and fully understand the early cultural treasures of Gansu.
