With the continuous development of the economy,the quality of life has improved,people began to pay attention to the nutrition and health of food,and canned food could meet the requirements in safe and convenient.In recent years,Foreign packaging companies make cans of different shapes,and get a good market response.Irregular can seaming equipment will have a lot of room for development in the future.Studying the canister sealing mechanism has a strong practical significance.The working principle of the seaming mechanism of irregular cans is discussed,and the design of the cam and the feeding cam are introduced.Establishing the kinematics equation of the seaming mechanism by the complex vector method.The two degrees of freedom spring-mass model of the seaming mechanism and the free vibration model of the swinging rod are established.Employing Creo2.0 establish the three-dimensional model of seaming mechanism,and the motion analysis considering the collision contact and flexible deformation of the swinging rod was carried out by ADAMS and ANSYS.It is found that the motion law of roller at the transition between the rounded corner and the horizontal straight line is most susceptible,and increase the radius of curvature of the cam on the design here.The transient dynamics analysis of the model swing lever is performed in the ANSYS Workbench.The deformation displacement curve of the mold roll was obtained.The result shows as the rolling process continues the deformation of the second seaming pendulum is larger than that of first rail.The maximum deformation occurs near 2.9s and the deformation is 0.15 mm.Finally,the modal analysis of the model swing lever is performed to obtain the first 6 natural frequencies.The design methods of the cam and the feeding cam are summarized,and the points which are easy to affect the quality of the seaming are analyzed.The research content has theoretical guiding significance for the design and manufacture of the irregular can sealing mechanism.Figure46;Table6;Reference 49.
