According to statistics,1/3 to 1/2 of the world's energy production is lost in friction and wear,and the damage caused by abrasion to industrial countries can reach 2 to 8%of the gross national product.Through using appropriate lubricating materials and lubrication technology friction and wear can be effectively decreased.Guided by materials science and tribology,this paper using scanning electron microscopy,high-temperature friction and wear testing machines and other instruments as a means studyed micro/nano sulfur-based lubricants as lubricant additives to improve the interface friction and wear conditions between components,more fully played the performance of engineering machinery,extended the life of parts,reduced costs,and saved energy and materials.Firstly,micro/nano MoS2 was prepared by hydrothermal method.Sodium molybdate and thioacetamide were used as molybdenum source and sulfur source,and cetyltrimethylammonium chloride was used as additive to prepare particle size of about110 nm MoS2.Then the tribological properties of micro/nano MoS2 were investigated by MG2000 friction and wear tester.The coating material used in the test consisted of solid lubricant MoS2,adhesive,thinner and other fillers.The adhesive was made of epoxy resin and silicic acid.The experimental results showed that the synthesized micro/nano MoS2had better lubrication performance than the industrial MoS2.One of the applications of self-lubricating materials:inlaid self-lubricating bearings.In view of the current inlaid self-lubricating bearing,there was a problem that the bonding strength between the substrate and the lubricating material was low,the lubricating material was not resistant to high temperature,and the cost was high.By using self-made high-temperature resistant phosphate adhesive to bond the solid lubricating material and the substrate,the operating temperature of the inlaid bearing was improved,which effectively solved the problems that the self-lubricating bearing was easy to fall off during the use process.Application of self-lubricating materials:soft coating cutting tools.For the problem of tool wear caused by dry cutting,the Deform simulation software was used to simulate the cutting of 45 steel workpieces of micro/nano MoS2 coated tools.The simulation results showed that the self-built MoS2 coated tools can had smaller cutting force and The lower cutting temperature than common tool.In summary,the micro/nano-based MoS2 self-lubricating material had excellent anti-friction and anti-wear properties under high temperature and high pressure,which can effectively improve the friction and wear state between the working interfaces of parts and components,and reduce the manufacturing,use,and Harmful friction and wear in maintenance and management work,prolong the service life of mechanical equipment,improve the working efficiency of machinery,and fully exert the performance and function of machinery.Figure 48;Table 7;Reference 63.
