In ordinary home appliance molds,there are usually a large number of punching components distributed in one or more processes.When traditional designers design molds,they often perform a series of operations such as modeling,positioning,assembling,opening and so on.Since a large number of punches may be required for assembly in each process,the conventional method of assembling one by one produces a large number of repeated operations,resulting in great time consumption.At the same time,the punch assembly has strict positioning and accuracy requirements,which requires the designer to accurately position and adjust repeatedly during the assembly process,which is also a great test for the designer's work efficiency and accuracy.In summary,the automatic assembly system for the design and development of the punch for the home appliance mold,and the rapid and automated assembly of the punch has positive engineering significance and practical significance.This paper combines the Media's sheet metal intelligent mold design project to comprehensively analyze the development status of intelligent assembly and punch standard library management at home and abroad.At the same time,aiming at the problems and difficulties in the assembly process of the above punches,a set of automatic management system for multi-type punches of household appliances and molds is designed,aiming at realizing fast,accurate and fully automatic batch assembly of non-standard punches.Improving designer mold design efficiency and accuracy.Based on the NX platform,this paper develops a set of non-standard punch automatic assembly system including contour recognition and classification,punch classification,punch input,and creation of holes.Considering the batch assembly problem of the punch,this paper designs the automatic recognition algorithm of the curve element to realize the batch identification and classification operation of the punch outline.Considering the wide variety of punches,this paper uses the NX parametric modeling feature to construct the punch parameterized template,and uses the configuration file to drive the parameter changes of the parts to realize the punch classification management and the rapid update operation of the punch parts.Finally,The NX feature performs normalized batch positioning,naming,and opening operations on the punch.The paper is assembled and tested by the Media microwave oven A34 L door template.At the same time,compared with the traditional standard library punch calling assembly method,the practicality of the system is demonstrated by comparison,and the efficient batch calling of non-standard punch can be realized.
