"Ecological development is civilized,ecological decline is civilized decline".ecological environment is the basis of human survival and development,and ecological environment changes have a major impact on the rise and fall of social civilization.In contemporary society where environmental issues are prominent,the relationship between ecology and civilization is not only a theoretical issue in ecological philosophy,but also a realistic issue that must be taken seriously in the construction of ecological civilization in China.Starting with the basic concepts of "ecology" and "civilization",this paper expounds the basic meaning of ecology,that is,the relationship between biology and its environment,which has been continuously expanded with the development of history.Defined as a variety of factors closely related to human real life and their overall state.At the same time,it analyzes the original meaning of Chinese governance of traditional civilization and its relationship with culture,progress and evolution,as well as the embodiment of contemporary civilization in the aspect of "five-in-one".And elaborated the main points of Mrax and Engels' ecological thoughts.The interpretation of the concepts of ecology and civilization has laid the most basic theoretical foundation for the discussion of this paper.Then,starting with the historical facts of the beginning of human civilization,this paper expounds that the birth of early human civilization can not be separated from a good ecological environment,and that human beings play a special role in the environment and exist as a special ecological factor.A clear understanding of the relationship between early human civilization and ecological environment has been formed.Then,taking the evolution of human civilization as the breakthrough point,this paper interprets the basic attitudes of people towards nature worship,respect and conquest in the period of primitive civilization,agricultural civilization and industrial civilization,respectively.In particular,the attitude of conquering nature during the Industrial Revolution brought serious environmental problems,resulting in the confrontation between "humanization" and "anti-humanization" of nature.It is precisely because of the change of people's attitude towards nature until it is opposed to ecology that we re-examine the relationship between ecology and civilization,reflect rationally on the relationshipbetween "ecology" and "civilization",and analyze the contradictory relationship between ecology and civilization.It combs the ecological theory from economic crisis to ecological crisis,from human to physics,from people to things,from traditional ethics to ecological ethics,and provides theoretical support for the subsequent interpretation of the harmonious unity of ecology and civilization.Finally,the civilization of ecology,that is,the reality,practice and social history of the relationship between man and nature,and the ecology of civilization,that is,the way of thinking,the way of life,the development of science and technology and the ecology of the system,are analyzed.This paper expounds the harmonious and unified relationship between ecology and civilization from the angle of ecology and society,which is embodied in four aspects: material,political,spiritual and social,and finally points to the harmonious unity of humanitarianism and naturalism to realize the all-round development of human beings.The purpose of this paper is to study the dialectical relationship between ecology and civilization,and to stimulate people to think deeply about the relationship between ecology and civilization,between man and nature,and to provide theoretical basis for promoting the construction of social ecological civilization.However,this paper also has some shortcomings,for example,the exploration of the rational reflection on the relationship between ecology and civilization needs to be deepened.
