The Research On Ecological Civilization And Its Construction

Up until today, the development of human civilization has gone through several different forms of collect-hunting civilization, agricultural civilization, industrial civilization, and other forms; and it is currently approaching the stage of the ecological civilization. Since 1960s, the disadvantages of industrial civilization have brought the human being into the unprecedented predicament, then the governments of different countries and the people actively begin exploring and searching the ideas and methods to the problem, as a result, the discussion on the development of civilization becomes a hot topic. In recent years, the scholars have comprehensive study and discussion on civilizations concerned about their conflicts and integrations as well as transcendence and reconstruction. In the 21st century, the mankind is facing various crises including the ecological crisis, and they start to rethink the relationship between man and nature from the perspective of self-value orientation. The ecological civilization is a new civilization development model that has been chosen after deep reflection on the traditional civilization development model in the new era and under new conditions; the ecological civilization is a new stage in the evolution process of the human society, is a advanced model after the industrial civilization, is a new state between the man and nature, and has profound theoretical and pressing realistic significance to the continuation, development and advancement of the human society.From the perspective of philosophy, this thesis reflects and analyzes the industrial civilization, figures out that ecological civilization is the trend for human civilization, analyses the contents of ecological civilization, then considers China's national conditions and proposes the idea of constructing ecological civilization which, based on the harmony of four relationships and combined with the connotation and characteristics of ecological civilization, is to explore ways to construct ecological civilization in politics, economy, culture and other facets of social development.
