Due to the improvement of sewage discharge standards,design defect of the produce process and outdated equipment,it is necessary to renovate the Huangtang Wastewater Treatment Plant.In this paper,the Huangtang Sewage Treatment Plant will be reviewed and analyzed.Based on the analysis of its operation status,various problems existing in the wastewater treatment plant will be summarized and the corresponding solutions will be proposed.The efficiency of the overall system,as a judging criterion of the effectiveness of the solutions,will be tested both before and after the transformation.The Huangtang Sewage Treatment Plant is located in Xuxiake Town,Jiangyin City,which adopts A~2O process.The first phase construction scale is1×10~4 m3/d,and the effluent implements the first-class B emission standard.According to the statistics of effluent data from January to December 2015,the effluent COD,ammonia nitrogen,and total nitrogen concentrations are all unable to meet the Class A emission standards.During this period,the BOD/COD of the influent water was 0.35-0.46 and the influent was biodegradable,so we chose to optimize the biochemical pool.After the optimization of prolonging biochemical pond and increasing hydraulic residence time is completed,the effluent indicators were tested,in which the average concentration of effluent COD decreased to 31.4 mg/L;the average concentration of ammonia nitrogen was 1.59mg/L;the average concentration of total nitrogen was 4.45 mg/L;Generally,they all meet the national level A standard.Compared with the original procedure,the capability to remove ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen was improved.In terms of the weak anti-impact load capacity of the Huangtang Sewage Treatment Plant,this project has effectively solved the problem of excessive discharge caused by the impact of raw water by means of pump station detection and additional return pipelines.In the two years after the completion of the transformation,five raw water shocks were successfully dealt with,ensuring the stable operation of the sewage plant.However,many plastic bottles in the chemical fiber wastewater from the enterprise were difficult to remove through both coarse and fine grids.In the project,this problem was well solved through the roller filter machine and the pump suction filter which were developed by ourselves.Besides,the processing capacity of the bottle sheet is 165%higher than that of the original rotary grill machine.In order to effectively improve the operating efficiency of the sewage plant,save energy and reduce consumption,in this paper,the optimizing and update of the original equipment of the sewage plant is mainly focused.The original self-priming pump was replaced by a submersible sewage pump,saving about2.4×10~4 kwh per month.At the same time,the Roots blower was replaced by an air-suspended air fan,which would reduce average monthly electricity consumption by around 3.2×10~4 kwh.After these two transformations,the overall electricity consumption of the Huangtang Wastewater Treatment Plant in2017 was reduced by about 35%compared with the electricity consumption in2016 and the electricity cost for the one year was reduced by 500 000 yuan,which sufficiently reduces the energy consumption of the sewage plant and improves economic efficiency.
