China is the second largest air transport market in the world,and the contribution of air transport enterprises to the national economy has increased year by year.In the background of the air transport industry is under the national carbon emissions trading system,the 13 th Five-Year Plan for civil aviation energy conservation and emission reduction,and the CORSIA of ICAO,how to balance enterprise development and low carbon targets is an urgent problem for air transport enterprises.This paper takes the carbon emission efficiency of air transport enterprises as the research object,conducts empirical research on carbon emission efficiency and proposes corresponding suggestions based on the research results.The innovations of this paper are to establish a measurement model for the carbon emission efficiency of air transport enterprises,and to study the changes of the two core elements of carbon emission efficiency.This paper uses the literature analysis method to sort out the relevant theories and measurement methods of carbon emission efficiency,proposes the measurement method of carbon emission efficiency of air transportation enterprises,including the calculation method of carbon dioxide emissions,the measurement model of carbon emission static efficiency,and the measurement model of carbon emission dynamic efficiency;this paper calculates the carbon emissions of air transport enterprises in China,and uses the Global DEA-SBM model to measure the static efficiency of carbon emissions,and uses the Bootstrap method to correct the measurement results which with deviations.The Global Malmquist-Luenberger productivity index method was used to measure the air transport enterprises’ carbon emissions dynamic efficiency and their decomposition,and use the decoupling model to compare the decoupling effects of China’s air transport enterprises.The paper found:(1)Using the Global DEA-SBM model with the Bootstrap method,the static efficiency evaluation can be performed more accurately;the application of the GML productivity index method ensures the objectivity of the dynamic efficiency evaluation results.(2)The static efficiency of the overall carbon emission is fluctuating.The average carbon emission efficiency during the inspection period is 0.736,0.753,0.826,0.820,and 0.784.In 2011,the average air emission efficiency of the 13 air transport enterprises was the highest.China Southern Airlines,Air China,Hainan Airlines,Spring Airlines and Air Changan are effective,Xinhua Airlines and Juneyao Airlines also have higher efficiency.Other airlines have greater room for improvement in carbon emission efficiency,mainly due to total transportation volume,route structure,fare setting,and operating income.(3)The overall carbon emission efficiency shows an inverted U-shaped trend,mainly due to changes in technical efficiency;China Southern Airlines,Air China,Hainan Airlines and Tianjin Airlines all show improvement in efficiency,China Eastern Airlines,Sichuan Airlines,Shandong Airlines,During the inspection period,Xinhua Airlines,Shenzhen Airlines and Lucky Air all showed deterioration in carbon emission efficiency.The efficiency changes of Juneyao Airlines,Spring Airlines and Air Changan during the inspection period were more complicated than those of the above-mentioned enterprises.The reasons for the change are not the same.There are both technological change factors and efficiency change factors,and there are also two factors that affect the situation.(4)The decoupling state of the air transport enterprise is unstable,and the ideal state at this stage is the weak decoupling state. |
