With the development of aircraft technology in aviation enterprises,aircraft assembly technology is moving towards digital assembly.MBD(Model Based Definition)technology,as a means of digital product definition,provides technical support for 3d digitization of assembly process design.This paper integrates MBD technology with the aircraft assembly process design.In order to realize the digital transfer of assembly process information and the parallel collaboration design of assembly process,the collaborative design technology of aircraft digital assembly process based on MBD is deeply studied.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1)The assembly process MBD data set is constructed.The data set is composed of three parts: aircraft parts design MBD model,assembly process MBD model and assembly tooling MBD model.According to the flow of assembly process design,the information composition and expression method of each digital model in the data set are defined.The organization specification of MBD data set is made according to the requirement of enterprise.(2)The method of aircraft assembly process planning under MBD environment is studied.The division process of assembly unit is described by establishing assembly association diagram.Based on the comprehensive fuzzy evaluation method,the assembly unit attribution of components is determined after considering the influencing factors of the process separation surface division.Then,the assembly constraint directed graph of assembly unit is established for topology sorting and optimization.Finally,the optimal assembly sequence is determined.(3)Collaborative design mode of assembly process driven by maturity of MBD model is established.In this collaborative design mode,the collaborative design flow of assembly process is determined by dividing the maturity of aircraft MBD model.(4)A MBD-based collaborative design system of assembly process was developed by using the secondary development technology of CATIA.The developed system is verified with an enterprise design example,and the results show that,it can meet the requirements of collaborative design of digital assembly process.
