In China's road transport industry,freight transport is the main component,freight volume in the total volume of transport occupies a very large proportion.As the carrier of cargo transportation,the safety of trucks is an important guarantee for the safety of highway cargo transportation.According to the analysis results of traffic accident data in China,the occurrence points of traffic accidents are mostly in the combination section of bends and slopes.Especially for the trucks traveling on the curved slope combination section of expressway,the accident rate caused by unreasonable distance between workshops remains high.Once the accident happens,it will bring serious losses.Therefore,this paper studies the minimum safe distance between loaded trucks on curved slope combination section of expressway.Firstly,on the basis of quoting relevant norms,defines the range of combined sections of curved slopes of expressway,taking into account the factors such as different grades of highway and different driving speeds.At the same time,the characteristics of different types of heavyduty vehicles on expressways are analyzed representative vehicles are selected as research vehicles.Secondly,based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the existing model,a safe distance calculation model is established,which is based on the braking system of the truck and fully considers the driving behavior characteristics of the driver.The influence of human,vehicle,road and external environment on the minimum safe distance of the truck in the curved slope section of the expressway is discussed,and the reaction time of the driver and the vehicle are also discussed.Relevant parameters such as braking performance time,driving speed and braking safety distance are effectively defined,and the minimum safe distance of the truck in the combined section of curved slope of expressway is obtained.Finally,the truckSim 2016 software is used to validate the minimum safe distance model of the truck in the curved-slope combination section.The research shows that the calculation model is reasonable and feasible.
