Traffic accidents in mountainous areas are frequent,especially in the case of curved road sections,which has caused more serious concern in society.According to statistics,although the number of accidents in mountainous roads accounts for a small proportion of roads nationwide,the intensity of accidents and economic losses are the most serious.Although the safety situation of mountainous roads has been continuously improved since the implementation of the National Highway Safety and Security Project by the Ministry of Communications in 2004,the situation of mountain road accidents has been greatly suppressed objectively,but the factors affecting the roads in China have not yet been fundamental.The change,mountain road traffic accidents still have serious casualties,and serious traffic accidents,especially mass casualties,have occurred.Taking 2011 as an example,the number of mountain road accidents only accounts for 11.85% of the national road accidents.However,there are 29.6 deaths per 100 road accidents and 37 mountain roads in the country;112.6 road accidents per 100 road accidents and 128 roads in mountainous areas;direct economic loss of 441,000 yuan per 100 traffic accidents across the country roads Sixty-six thousand yuan,the proportion of traffic accidents on detours accounted for 90.6% of the total number of accidents in mountainous roads.The above statistics show that mountain roads should be the key improvement targets for road safety in China.In particular,the curved road sections of mountainous roads should become the key hidden dangers of mountain roads.The traffic safety risks of mountainous roads bring economic development and people’s lives safety protection.Great impact.Firstly,the paper analyzes the macroscopic statistical data of traffic accidents in curved road sections,understands the severity of accidents in mountainous roads and its changing laws,and clarifies the main forms of traffic accidents in curved road sections,and uses this as the basis to determine the main research of microscopic analysis.The content,through the analysis of the driving dynamics of the vehicle in the curved road section,establishes the road parameters of the curved road section and the vehicle construction parameters—the rollover/slip critical speed model,and obtains the mechanism and influencing factors of the vehicle instability in the curved road section.Secondly,through the selection of five typical mountain roads with different radiuses,the experimental data survey is carried out to obtain the driving speed and trajectory data of different models in different radii,different section positions and different driving directions,and based on this,the vehicle is used as the basis.The characteristics of driving speed and driving trajectory are analyzed,and the speed and trajectory distribution and variation law of different vehicle types in curved road sections are obtained.The relationship between speed and linear index for the speed management demand of curved roads is established.Predictive model and the relationship between the maximum lateral offset of the trajectory and the linear index and driving speed of the curved road segment.Finally,in view of the fact that there is no written regulation and effective experience that can be directly borrowed from the speed limit of the small radius curve section of the highway in China,from the perspective of speed management,the proposed method for determining the speed limit value of the small radius curve section of the mountain road is proposed.The speed limit guarantee measures,at the same time,the proportion of collision accidents in the current curved road section is still high,and a more scientific design suggestion and calculation method are proposed for the round curve widening value of the curved road section of the mountain road.
