| Sodium silicate is inexpensive,easy to obtain,and has good acid resistance.Intumescent fire-retardant coatings using inorganic substances such as silicates as film-forming substances,when flame-burned or under high-temperature conditions,produce silicate foam-like heat-insulating layers and do not generate toxic or harmful gases.However,the water resistance of fire-retardant coatings based on inorganic silicic acid is poor.If soaked in water or washed by rain,the coating is extremely easy to fall off.Therefore,it is particularly important to improve the water resistance of silicic acid-based inorganic fire retardant coatings.This research work is divided into two parts,the first part is the preparation of waterborne epoxy resin-sodium silicate compound emulsion,through the centrifugal method to test its stability,and the results show that,when the waterborne epoxy resin content is 20%,the preparation temperature was 60?,the stirring speed of 1500 r/min,get a waterborne epoxy resin-water glass composite emulsion stability is the best;In the second part,the composite emulsion prepared in the first part was used as film forming material,with the expansion system of ammonium polyphosphate,melamine and pentaerythritol,and the face filler was talc powder,titanium white powder,bentonite and hollow microbeads.An orthogonal experiment was designed to explore the optimal ratio of expansion system,film formation and hollow microspheres.Through water resistance test,big board combustion test and cone calorimeter test,the data shows that the coating has the best performance when the content of the expansion system of the fireproof coating is 7%,the content of compound emulsion is 70%,the content of hollow microbeads is 3%,the content of titanium dioxide is 4% and the other is 16%. |
