Study On Evaluation Of Ecological Space Quality Of Chongzuo

After the reform and opening up,China’s social economy has entered a stage of rapid development.With the continuous growth of population and economy,a series of problems,such as the shortage of resources,environmental pollution,ecological degradation and low efficiency of resource utilization,have become important obstacles to the continuous high-quality development of China’s social economy.Since the 18th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC),China has clearly proposed to take the path of civilized development with sound ecology and gives priority to ecology have made efforts to maintain ecological security and improve ecological quality.Chongzuo is located in the upper reaches of the pearl river basin with high forest coverage and good ecological environment.On the other hand,most of Chongzuo is located in rocky desertification area of Yunnan,Guangxi and Guizhou,Karst landforms are relatively developed.The ecological space of Chongzuo has extremely high value of both ecological service function and ecological sensitivity.The research on the quality of ecological space in this region is of great significance to the ecological environment protection and improvement of the pearl river basin and Chongzuo.This paper aims to evaluate and improve the ecological space quality of Chongzuo with GIS spatial analysis method,InVEST evaluation model,comprehensive analysis method,and landscape pattern analysis method based on Fragstats.The main contents and conclusions of this paper include:Based on the connotation of ecological space and the actual situation of Chongzuo,the ecological space area of Chongzuo was finally determined to be 10430.75km~2,accounting for59.81%of the administrative area of Chongzuo.It is mainly distributed in the north and south of Chongzuo,and less in the central and eastern part.According to the analysis of land use types in the ecological space,the woodland area accounts for 80.34%of the ecological space area;naked land accounts for 11.45%of the ecological space area;the proportion of grassland area in ecological space is 5.70%;and the proportion of water area is 2.51%.The evaluation model of ecological space quality was constructed from four aspects:natural foundation,ecological benefit,ecological stress and ecological structure.Firstly,the habitat quality of the ecological space was evaluated by using the habitat quality part of the biodiversity module in the InVEST model.Then the ecological service value was evaluated.Then the ecological sensitivity of ecological space is evaluated by the comprehensive evaluation method combining the two aspects of soil erosion and rocky desertification.Then the landscape pattern of the ecological space in the study area was evaluated based on the index of SHDI,SPLIT and CONTAG in the study area.Finally,the results of the four sub-systems of quality assessment were integrated to evaluate the overall ecological spatial quality of Chongzuo.The results show that the ecological spatial quality of Chongzuo has the spatial distribution characteristics of"high in the south and low in the north,high in the periphery and low in the middle".Most of the ecological space is of high quality,with the area of general grade and above accounting for89.49%of the ecological space in Chongzuo.Moreover,the quality of ecological space is directly proportional to the area of the quality grade,that is,the area of ecological space with high quality is the largest,forming a pyramid structure in which the quality grade is in harmony with the area of the region.The quality of ecological space is positively correlated with the proportion of forest land and water area.The ecological space of highest quality accounts for39.18%of the ecological space in Chongzuo.The ecological space with high quality accounts for37.04%of the ecological space in Chongzuo.The proportion of ecological space with general quality and lower quality is 13.27%and 10.43%respectively.The ecological space of lower quality is the most prominent area of ecological problems in Chongzuo,accounting for 0.08%of its total area.Finally,the corresponding quality improvement suggestions are put forward for different quality types of ecological space.
