Inner Mongolia Baotou Iron and Steel(Group)Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Baotou Steel)is located in the northwest of China.It is the largest industrial enterprise in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.It belongs to the important steel industry base of China's Northern Xinjiang Strategic Fortress and the world's largest rare earth industrial base.It has unique resources.Advantages and location advantages.The deepening of the development of the western region by the state has opened up a broad space for the development of enterprises in the western region.The promulgation of three documents including the State Council's Several Opinions on Further Promoting the Sound and Rapid Development of Inner Mongolia's Economy and Society has created favorable policy conditions for Baotou Steel..Baogang seized policy opportunities,accelerated structural adjustment,worked hard to transform and upgrade,and accelerated its own development.The industrial scale jumped from one million tons to 16.5 million tons.While appropriately increasing production capacity,we will actively upgrade and improve four series of products,strengthen resource management and control,and increase investment in research and development of new products.The special product“rare earth steel”produced by the company is favored by customers.With high-grade automotive steel,high-grade home appliances steel,high-grade pipeline steel,high-strength structural steel and other production capacity,filling the gap in Inner Mongolia and the central and western regions.After more than 60 years of deep reform and rapid development,Baotou Steel has become the largest steel enterprise in the northwest region.Baotou Steel has distinctive features and complete varieties,and is sold well both at home and abroad.It is a leading import and export enterprise in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The development of Baotou Steel has made positive contributions to serving the economic and social construction of the country and the autonomous region,revitalizing the national industry,safeguarding the national strategic security,and promoting the development of the ethnic areas.Railway transportation has become the main mode of transportation for metallurgical enterprises due to its fast transportation speed,large transportation volume,low cost and safety.The transportation of raw materials,fuels,materials and equipment required for Baotou Steel's production,the output of finished steel and semi-finished products produced by Baotou Steel,and the discharge of iron slag,steel slag and other industrial wastes are mainly realized by rail transportation.With the rapid development of Baotou Steel in recent years,the output has increased substantially,and the volume of transportation from iron ore,production auxiliary materials to final finished products has soared,and various problems in the railway transportation organization have become prominent.This paper systematically investigates and analyzes the transportation situation of Baotou Steel Road.It is found that the serious problem is the use of locomotives in the factory.As the only traction power for railway transportation in the Baotou Steel Plant,the locomotive is the primary railway transportation in the factory.condition.However,due to the aging of the plant line,the layout of the plant is unreasonable,the curve is large,the radius is small,the throat is difficult to pass,the unreasonable transportation process and dispatching command make the locomotive transportation difficult,and the number of medium-sized diesel locomotives is insufficient;the railway is heavily loaded.The rear wheel rim is not normal wear and tear,and the locomotive tension problem is more prominent,which seriously affects the railway transportation and production operations.Through the use of a variety of tools for data statistics,theoretical calculations,analysis of the cause of the problem,optimize the operation process of the station within the plant,open a new railway line:Baotou Steel and Baotou North Station,Baotou West Station line,continue to improve transport capacity,solve Entering the bottleneck problem of the railway transportation capacity;improving the operation of the medium-sized locomotive through the improvement of the small locomotive;rationally configuring the locomotive in each station operation area,strengthening the dispatching command,reducing the rim wear and improving the service life.By adopting a series of specific measures,the problems related to the use of locomotives in the factory have been effectively alleviated,the use of locomotives has been more rational,the transportation costs have been greatly reduced,the demand for traction power of the company's railway transportation has been met,and the healthy development of railway transportation within the Baotou Steel Plant has been promoted.
