Wood color and photoehromism have been a hot spot in the field of wood science.The discoloration of wood flooring is one of the important factors that affect its decorative effect.In this paper,to study the Pterocarpus soyauxii wood discoloration,comparative study at the protective effect of using 3 different coatings.The main conclusions are as follows:1)Under sun conditions,20 days is Africa Padauk color changing acceleration period(5~8 months).about normal 20 days of sunlight,the wood color can be transformed into gray from the blood red(a*and b*values generally decreased by about 25),and then began to color changing slowly period,besides pterocarpus soyauxii wood color is uneven.2)LS-1 198 ultrasonic impregnation treatment had little protective effect on Africa Padauk floor photochromic.Specimens of ultraviolet absorbent UV-1130 coating treatment,UV irradiation prophase shows photochromic protection effect in the early stage,but the final chromatic aberration of specimens were higher than 25,So that the UV absorber can not be used for Padouk photochromic protection technology.3)The test specimen that coating of the iron oxide red paint(α-Fe2O3,mass fraction of 10-50%),it showed the excellent effect of photochromic protection under the ultraviolet irradiation condition,instead of chromatic aberration Gradually stabilized.However,we found more than 20%color concentration test specimen become black after treatment the lightness L*is reduced by about 25.Therefore,in order to ensure the protective effect of light color,adopting two groups of iron oxide coating coating process optimization test.Fianlly,it is found that 13%~15%color concentration is the optimal parameter4)It is suggested that manufactureing should be coated with iron oxide red paint on the paint line after the primer drying.Its advantage is that utilize water-based primer adhesion,and the sanding process of heavy and light sand filling putty has been completed,the wood surface voids are filled.In this circumstance,the roller coating and the iron oxide red water sorptivity primer,can form a uniform distribution of ferric oxide in aqueous coating primer coating,hot air drying can continue to wear in the process to finish painting primer.5)When the color concentration is 13%,the finished product board costs 0.55 RMB each;when the color concentration is 15%,the finished product board costs 0.60 RMB per coating.When the color concentration is 13%,it is 3.02 RMB/m2;when the color concentration is 15%,it is 3.30 RMB/m2.Therefore,the cost of iron oxide paint is 3.02~3.30 RMB/m2.
