In the paper,photochromic fiber fabrics were designed and the performance were researched.First of all,by reviewing a large amount of related materials,the types of photochromic materials and photochromic fibers and the formation,application and research status of their fabrics are discussed.Then the warp yarn is made of cotton yarn and weft yarn with different specifications of viscose filament yarn The effects of fabric structure and ultraviolet wavelength on the photochromism were analyzed,and the effect of fabric structure on the color change of photochromism,and analyzed the relationship between fabric floating coefficient and discoloration.Finally,the photochromic viscose fiber was used to design and develop a thin and light photochromic woven fabric and its performance was tested and evaluated.The results show that the microstructure of the fabric has a significant effect on the hue,lightness,saturation and apparent depth of photochromism,but has no significant effect on gloss;with the bigger the specific surface area is,the closer the arrangement is,the longer the length of the float line is,the smaller the interval between the ordinary yarn and the color changing yarn is,the lower the lightness of the fabric after the color changed,at the same time the tonal value,saturation,and the apparent depth is larger;with the increasing of the floating coefficient of the color changing yarn,the color difference and the ultraviolet absorption ability of the fabric are all improved after the discoloration;365nm than 254 nm UV irradiation,the color value of the fabric after discoloration,high saturation,apparent color,low lightness;254nm and 365 nm wavelength superimposed two kinds of ultraviolet radiation,Color changes before and after the fabric the biggest difference,the fabric from white to yellow than the red easier to reach saturation.The research results can provide theoretical basis and practical reference for the application of photochromic fibers and fabric design and development. |
