| In this paper,illegal cooking oil,phthalic anhydride,pentaerythritol and catalyzer were prepared to synthesize a waterborne alkyd resin which was modified by drier,acrylic,epoxy resin and acrylic epoxy resin.All of them were prepared into industrial paints and their indexes were tested.As a result,the suitable scheme was selected and then the industrial production test was carried out.The synthetic parameters were as follows:the range of super alcohol content,OL,acidity value was 1.2-1.35,40%-50%,60 mg/g-80 mg/g,and the temperature of alcoholysis,acidification,cosolvent(PGME,N-butanol)and neutralizer(Triethylamine)was 230℃-240℃,230℃-240℃,160℃,80℃-100℃,separately;Furthermore,the amount of neutralizer was 1.75 times of the calculation.The waterborne alkyd resin with slow drying speed,poor water resistance and salt water resistance was synthesized from illegal cooking oil,so it needed to be modified and the indexes of industrial paint prepared by non-modified and modified waterborne alkyd resins showed that the drying performance was improved by adding 4%-6%drying agent;The drying speed,water resistance and salt water resistance of the industrial paint were further improved by acrylic acid modification;The loss of gloss of industrial paint by epoxy modification was due to the poor affinity of epoxy resin and waterborne alkyd resin.Modification of acrylic acid was the best choice,and the VOC content of acrylic acid modified waterborne resin was 58 g/L,which was lower than 150 g/L of the index and the VOC content of acrylic acid modified waterborne resin paint was only 30 g/L,which was far lower than 300 g/L of the index,so it met the requirements of green environment protection.The mechanism of acrylic acid modified waterborne resin was as follows:The acid value of illegal cooking oil was generally more than 100mg/g,and phthalic anhydride,pentaerythritol,neutralizer also contain a large number of hydrophilic groups(-OH,-COOH),so the waterborne resin had excellent water-solubility,but the drying speed,water resistance,salt water resistance was poor.However,acrylic acid with a large number of hydrophobic groups such as-CH3,-CH2-could effectively improve its drying speed,water and salt resistance.Industrial production tests of illegal cooking oil waterborne alkyd resin and its industrial paint were carried out and then the drying speed,water and salt resistance of the paint were all met HG/T 4847-2015.Besides the waterborne alkyd resin paints applied in the steel structure were tested in open air and met HG/T 4847-2015.It was of great value to find a good way to utilize and absorb waste oil,turning waste into treasure,reducing the discharge of oily solvents. |
