| Phosphate rock is a kind of important resource with it’s various and different floatability.The characteristics of phosphate resource in China are poor,and most of them are collophanite,and the collophanite are usually low grade with higher levels of harmful impurity and fine particles with tight combination,difficult to separate and dissociate.Some gangue have the similar properties and floatability with apatite,which caused difficult to separate them,the reason why it’s difficult to separate them is the interaction between minerals has a big influence on the flotation of apatite,In the flotation of sodium oleate,The objects of this paper are apatite,dolomite,calcite and quartz.The content of the research including the floatability of pure minerals with different particle sizes and the influence of modifiers on the flotation.At the same time,The effects of different particle sizes on the size of-106+45μm and-45+18μm apatite,dolomite,calcite and quartz were discussed.According to the theory of solution chemistry of flotation and the test of XRD,infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,the mechanism of mineral interaction are discussed to find the method can promote or inhibit mineral interaction in the flotation of apatite.Using sodium oleate as the collectors in the flotation of pure minerals.the flotability of different grain sizes is dolomite and calcite has the best floation effect,followed by apatite,while quartz has neally zero floatability,the conclusion is the floatability of minerals has close relation with the mineral sizes.And the more finer size of apatite and dolomite with the more worse floatability.While the calcite and quatz has little relation with the floatability.Calcium and magnesium ions have little influence on the floatation of apatite.Calcium and magnesium ions can inhibit calcite and dolomite in alkaline conditions.The effect of calcium and magnesium ions on the flotation of quartz is the biggest,The sodium silicate has little effect on the flotation of silica which activated by calcium ions.When the amount of sodium silicate is increased to a certain amount.In the system of mixed ores flotation.Using sodium oleate as the collectors to float different minerals,when the pH value is 10,the size of-18μm dolomite and various size of calcite can activated the floatability of-106+45μm apatite,the size of different minerals has little effect on the flotation of-45+18μm apatite particles.Different sizes of apatite can depress the flotation of dolomite and calcite.The different size of dolomite and calcite can rapidly increase the recovery of quartz.The mechanism of finer minerals can activated the coarser minerals is the fine mierals adsorbed in the coarse minerals and has relations with the minerals dissolved components.Six sodium hexametaphosphate can depress the adsorp of finer dolomite and calcite in the quartz.The results of this study can improve the theory of apatite mineral flotation,it has great value for the study of the mineral interaction and requirement of mieral sepation in the flotion of apatite. |
