Water environmental monitoring is an important part of environmental governance.The traditional water quality monitoring methods include artificial sampling and analysis,water quality monitoring stations,remote sensing technology,etc.The disadvantages of these water methods are obvious,the disadvantage of artificial sampling is at high cost of human labor and the middle one's disadvantage is at high investment cost,and the last is difficult to quantify the shortcomings of specific water quality indicators.The innovation of sensor technology and communication technology makes wireless sensor network technology more perfect and widely used in environmental monitoring.The application of wireless sensor network technology can solve the shortcomings of traditional monitoring methods well,and accomplish the environment measurement in real-time and it is at low cost and works at long time.In this subject,the technology of modern sensor and wireless communication and computer software was used to design an online automatic monitoring system for water environment based on wireless sensor network.Through the design of low power,the system can monitor the area of the designated water environment continuously,store and forward the data,and the remote control end can analyze the received data in real time.The sensor nodes were widely distributed in the waters to be measured.The pH,DO,temperature,electrical conductivity and turbidity of the water environment can be monitored for a long time in real time.Each node communicated through Zigbee protocol.Water environmental data is collected by Zigbee protocol to collect water quality data from sensor nodes in the system to sink nodes.And finally,the water data was transmitted from sink node to the host computer and remote network management system.In this paper,CC2530 was chosen as the processor of sink node and sensor node.In this paper,the water environment monitoring system was designed from the perspective of hardware and software.The hardware of the system included sensor nodes and sink nodes.The software included networking,water quality data acquisition program,upper computer program,and network management system.After the design of hardware and software was completed,the tests were carried out on the proofreading of each sensor,the wireless communication of the nodes,and the data acquisition and processing,and the system was successfully completed.The experimental results showed that the system accomplished the tasks of measuring and transmitting five parameters of water quality.The data acquisition was accurate,the data was transmitted without error,the performance index was expected and the system ran steadily.
