The rapid development of China's jewelry industry necessitates comprehensive adjustment and upgradation for product structure of jewelry industry in a short time,which allows jewelry industry to meet the diversified needs of consumers.Especially,innovation of jewelry structure plays a critical role in adjusting and upgrading the product structure.Accordingly,the aim of this paper is to explore the optimization design for connection between different jewelry materials,based on the methods of theoretical analysis and experimental exploration.After summarizing the classification and properties of common jewelry materials,as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the existing connection modes of jewelry materials,this paper focuses on the exploration of optimizing in detachable mosaic structure and the connection modes between different jewelry materials(such as metal,ceramics,wood,etc.)and the connection modes of spherical gems.Specifically,this paper is divided into the following parts.The preface introduces several important concepts,research background and research purpose.The second part classifies jewelry materials and then makes a comparative analysis of the properties of common jewelry materials.The third part studies the classification of connection modes of jewelry materials,which is classified according to processing technology and expression mode.The fourth part emphasizes the design method and requirements for the connection modes between jewelry materials.In the fifth part,detachable mosaic structure for multiple gems,the connection modes between different jewelry materials(such as metal,ceramics,wood,etc.)and/or spherical gems with other materials.The sixth part summarizes this paper.
