In this paper,three functional hydrophobic coatings based on silicone epoxy resin are designed for antiscaling and anti-corrosion of metal surfaces.(1)Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)modified ZnO combined with perfluoroethylene propylene copolymer(FEP)designed an organosilicon epoxy resin-based(EP)superhydrophobic functional coating(EP/ZnO-PDMS/FEP)is used for anti-scaling and anti-corrosion of metal surfaces.The prepared superhydrophobic coating has a hydrophobic angle and a rolling angle of(153±1.35)°and(3±0.9)°,respectively.Meanwhile,it’s has good self-cleaning properties.The scale inhibition experiment showed that the EP/ZnO-PDMS/FEP superhydrophobic coating has excellent anti-scaling performance,and the scale deposition on the coating surface is reduced by 45.9%compared with the pure silicone epoxy coating.Anti-corrosion tests show that the EP/ZnO-PDMS/FEP superhydrophobic coating has good corrosion resistance.After 20 days of immersion,the|Z|0.01Hz.01Hz value remains above 107Ω/cm2,which was about 4 Order of magnitude times higher than the low-frequency impedance value(103Ω/cm2)of the uncoated Al plate in the salt solution for 2 hours.(2)The amino silicon oil modifying celatom particles(Si-ASO)were combined with polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)to design an organosilicon epoxy resin-based(EP)composite functional coating(EP/Si-ASO/PDMS)used for antiscaling and anti-corrosion on metal surface.The prepared coating’properties were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),electrochemical workstation and friction testing machine.The results showed that the EP/Si-ASO/PDMS composite coating exhibited unique antiscaling properties with the deposition of CaCO3 on the coating surface decreased by 45%compared with the EP/Si coating.At the same time,the corrosion resistance test proved that the EP/Si-ASO/PDMS composite coating had excellent corrosion resistance with the high impedance modulus(above 1010Ω/cm2)after immersion in 3.5 wt%NaCl solution for 34 days.In addition,the friction test diaplayed that the EP/Si-ASO/PDMS composite coating had good rubbing resistance with the weight loss only 26.47%after 5,000 cycles of rotational friction(3)Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)were used as the carriers of diethylenetriaminepenta(methylphosphonic acid)(DTPMPA),combination with flake zinc powders and PVDF powders to fabricated a novel organosilicon epoxy resin-based(EP)composite coating(EP/iDCNTs/Zn/PVDF)used for anti-scaling and anti-corrosion purpose.Scaling experiments demonstrated that EP/iDCNTs/Zn/PVDF composite coating exhibits unique scaling inhabition properties.Compared with the commercial silicone epoxy coating(EP),the amount of CaCO3 sedimentation on the EP/iDCNTs/Zn/PVDF coating surface decreased by 81.6%.The corrosion resistance test proved that the EP/iDCNTs/Zn/PVDF composite coating had outstanding corrosion resistance.Even after immersion in 3.5 wt%NaCl solution for 25 days,the|Z|0.01 Hz of EP/iDCNTs/Zn/PVDF composite coating were about 2 orders of magnitude higher than that of the EP coating after immersion 7 days. |
