S Steel Coke Oven Construction Project Schedule Management Research

Generally,project consists of scope,organization,quality,time schedule and cost.The core content of project management is project planning and control,which is one of the key factors deciding the success of project.Project planning provides the basis and guidelines for project;the control of project ensures the project implements as planned.As a practical tool,project management is widely used in the industrial developed countries.However,it is a new application science in China,and has vast potential for development.In recent years,our country strongly advocated the practice of project management theory,cause it plays a key role in enhancing the quality of the project,ensuring the schedule and reducing costs.To guide the project execute smoothly and ensure the project complete as requested,relevant theories of project schedule management can be applied in the engineering construction.This paper investigates the project schedule of S Steel coke oven construction project and the schedule management in the various stages of this project.Based on the project schedule theory,this paper analyses the influencing factors of project production process,project stages and project time schedule.By using project target recognition,structure analysis,project work breakdown method formulated and project schedule optimization,this paper also discusses the project risk of sudden plan and analyses the control of project implementation in order to ensure the smooth progress of project.The total contract project of S Steel coke oven construction project is the first coke oven construction project of our company.Through investigating the project plan and schedule management,the paper summaries experience and lessons appear in the each stage of the project.These experiences help to undertake similar coking projects,and improve work efficiency.Meanwhile,they provide comprehensive,scientific and objective material for bidding other coke oven construction projects,and offer valuable experience for other projects schedule management.
