Miao nationality is one of the ethnic groups with a long history and wide distribution in our country.Due to the complicated geographical environment,folk custom tradition and ethnic migration,Miao nationality has formed a unique culture and aesthetic taste.The Miao costume culture has become the most representative icon of Miao culture.Taijiang County,a region with the largest population concentration of the Miao nationality in China,is also extremely rich in the variety of the Miao costumes,and has become a brilliant branch of the Taijiang Miao culture.On the basis of enriching the historical background and present situation of the Miao and Taijiang Miao costume,this paper combs the problems that happens,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the Miao dress in Taijiang,and proposes the combination of Miao nationality dress and modern materials.The traditional art of Miao nationality can be regarded as "old" and that modern materials can be regarded as "new",so that two completely different visual experiences can be planned into one kind of aesthetics,and both of them exist in a context.The paper provides theoretical support and practical basis for the combination of fashion and traditional aesthetics,strengthens the contemporary nature of the Miao nationality handwork,and improves the fashion of the Miao culture.Use "new" thinking to remedy "old" things and let both of them co-exist.The content is divided into five Chapters,Chapter 1,The introduction is mainly about the research background,meaning method and innovation point of this topic.Chapter 2,Combined with the history of Miao nationality,this paper expounds the development process,connotation and characteristics of the clothing of Miao nationality,and fully understands the tradition of the dress of Miaonationality in Taijiang.Chapter 3,This paper expounds the value of traditional clothes and modern materials of Taijiang Miao nationality,defines "new" and "old",and discusses the value of them.Chapter 4,To Taijiang Miao clothing and new materials for practical exploration,and thinks about its design principles,innovation and creative ideas.Chapter 5 is the the summary of the full test,the research process of induction and follow-up research work and prospects.In order to inherit and develop the traditional Chinese national culture and endow the tradition with the contemporary thinking to achieve the purpose of innovation.From the clothing innovation itself,innovation is the source of clothing art development.The reason why the Miao traditional clothes are combined with new materials is to make use of the wisdom of the predecessors to carry out modern fashion clothing design,so as to promote the national clothing with the times,create more possibilities.While fully inheriting and carrying forward the artistic connotation and value of the Miao traditional culture,we should constantly improve the modern dress art.In the course of studying the Miao traditional dress,we can see its existing advantages and disadvantages,and take its essence,discard the dross,retain some of the required parts,,and then use,from the perspective of repair symbiosis to stimulate a new creative inspiration,the integration and supplement of the two,to promote the common development of contemporary clothing.
