Research On Design And Application Of Functional Clothing Based On In-bed Type Eldrly People

The ageing of the population is a common concern of the entire society.The ageing of our country is characterized by its rapidity and large scale.At the same time,it is accompanied by the phenomenon of the "low births",aging,empty nesting,small family structures,rapid weakening of family and family protection functions.This subject took bedridden old people as the research object,studying and summarizing the physiological characteristics and psychological characteristics of the elderly.The article concluded that bedridden old people suffered from various degrees of physical function decline due to age or suffering from disease.The bedridden old man's body was prone to various chronic diseases and complications with the reduced basal metabolism,changes in body surface appearance,and reduced body conditioning mechanisms.Therefore,in the process of care for the elderly in bed type,we must pay attention to the physiological characteristics of the elderly,psychological characteristics and various aspects of psychological care.On this basis,a summary of the current types of clothing and products using by bedridden elderly people was provided,illustrating the characteristics of the population targeted by each type of clothing and related products used by the current bedridden elderly.Finally,we understood the inconvenience of recording elderly people's clothing and analyze the issues that arise.In addition,we classified bedridden old people into light,moderate bedridden old people,and severe bedridden old people.We analyzed the structure and fabric of the clothes,and studied the suits worn by bedridden old people.While the physical needs and psychological needs of the elderly could also provide care for the caregiver to provide care for the elderly and reduce the workload.The article has carried out the design practice for the conclusions of different types of bedridden elderly people.It concluded that the clothing of light,moderate bedridden elderly people and severe bedridden elderly people had problems with wear and tear,inconvenience in toilets and daily medical care.Therefore,the clothing for the elderly with light or moderate bed type mainly solved the problems of wear and disassembly,the inconvenience of the toilet and the daily check-up of the elderly clothes,mainly from the opening style and the structure of the clothes.In addition,clothing and medical products were combined to make clothing not only protect the body of the elderly,but also facilitate the caregiver to perform daily care for the elderly.For heavily bedridden old people,because the elderly needed to be fully nursed by the caregiver,the garment was mainly designed from the perspective of the opening and the structure of the garment.The garment was simple and generous as a whole,facilitating the caregiver to wear care for the elderly.The overall appearance of the garment was generally the same as normal clothing.It can play a part in understanding the emotions of the elderly and maintain the self-esteem of the elderly.After trials worn by the elderly to achieve good results,they could effectively improve the quality of life of the elderly.
