Research On The Emotional Design Of The Function Of Furniture Products For The Elderly

This paper combines the emotional design theory with the actual functional requirements of the elderly for furniture,aiming to explore how to meet the physiological and psychological needs of the elderly through the optimization and innovation of furniture functions,and promote the application of emotional design in the field of elderly furniture products.Emotionalization of the function refers to meeting the physiological needs of the elderly as the basis,integrating humanistic care into the design,understanding the emotional needs of the elderly,making the elderly have emotional resonance,and getting certain psychological comfort.First of all,it discusses the functional characteristics of furniture,emotional design,the relationship between functional design and emotional design of furniture,and the definition of functional emotional design of furniture.It provides theoretical support for functional emotional design of furniture,and puts forward the important significance of emotionalization of the function in furniture design.Secondly,it summarizes the emotional design of the function of furniture products for the elderly from five parts:the physical and mental characteristics and emotional needs of the old people,the current situation of the old people's furniture market,the investigation of the old people's use of furniture,the functional characteristics of the old people's furniture,and the significance of emotional design of the function of furniture products for the elderly.Then,it analyzes the relevant emotional design elements that have an impact on it,and analyzes the features of emotional design level of the function of the elderly furniture from the design of instinct level,behavior level and reflection level of emotional design,and clarifies the design effect and goal to be achieved in each design level,and combines the excellent cases of domestic and foreign furniture design for elderly to provide some practical reference and design guidance for the design.Finally,it summarizes seven design principles and four design methods,and carry out design practice,aiming to provide innovative design reference and guidance for the elderly furniture design,stimulate and create more excellent elderly furniture products to serve the elderly and improve the quality of life of them.
