The number of overweight and obese people in the world is still rising year by year and has become a serious public health problem affecting the world.Numerous epidemiological studies have shown that overweight and obesity are risk factors for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, cancer, and musculoskeletal disorders.Medium-chain triglycerides have many physiological properties such as reducing fat deposition, maintaining healthy body weight, and improving blood lipid levels. The role of natural fats and oils containing medium carbon chain fatty acids is small, mainly containing milk fat(about 1% to 3%),palm kernel oil(about 7%),coconut oil(about 14%),Litsea cubeba oil(Contains about 50-65%).Eucalyptus seed oil is rich in medium-chain fatty acids(including about 95%).Domestically and overseas,it has only used palm kernel oil or coconut oil with a low content of medium-chain fatty acids, using separation, purification,or pyrolysis.Technical preparation of food and medicinal caprylic citrate MCT(high energy consumption and low safety). No literature has been reported on the development and preparation of edible and medicinal medium-chain triglycerides using Litsea cubeba oil and Eucalyptus seed oil.In this study, systematic reviews and meta-analysis were used to explore the effects of medium-chain triglycerides on body weight, and the effects of different dose of medium-chain triglycerides on body weight were also discussed. In order to investigate the effect of Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil on fat loss and body weight in obese individuals, this study used Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil as a substitute for lard in high-fat diets to feed obese mice and explore the effects of different proportions of Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil on obesity.Effect of weight loss and lipid-lowering on rats and blood lipid level in obese mice.Because of the close relationship between gut microbiota and health,16 S sequencing was used to explore the effect of Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil on intestinal microflora structure in obese mice. The LEf Se discriminant analysis method was used to find the differences. In the bacterial community,Spearman correlation analysis was used to find the bacterial populations related to body weight and body fat index; On this basis,PICRUSt functional prediction was performed on the flora, and STAMP software was used to identify the differential KEGG pathway and explore the effects of oil from Eucalyptus seed oil on the function of the bacteria. The results of the study indicate that medium chain triglycerides have a role in reducing body weight in rats and mice compared to long chain triglycerides, but this effect has a role in high doses, and low doses of medium chain triglycerides may not Will significantly affect body weight. In the study of fat-reducing and lipid-lowering effects of Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil on obese mice,it was found that obese mice were fed with Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil(Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil instead of 100% and 50% lard in high-fat diet, respectively). At the same time, they all have the effect of reducing body weight, body fat,and improving blood lipid levels. However, when the replacement amount is only 25%,the body weight, body fat,and blood lipid levels are not significantly difference with high-fat fed obese mice.In studies on the effects of Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil on intestinal microflora in obese mice,it was found that the degree of change was also related to the dose of Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil,in which 50% of Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil was used as a substitute for lard in high fat diets. The intervention had the greatest impact on obese mice, not only in the differential flora with the high-fat group, but also in the function of the flora was similar to the control group mice fed with the basal diet group and the mice after the obese recovery group, and It may be an important reason for its weight-loss and lipid-lowering effects. The feces short-chain fatty acids in 100% Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil were more similar to those in the control group fed with normal diet, which may be influenced by energy absorption and the aboundance of some species(eg aboundance of Lactobacillus was decreased and Ruminococcaceae bacterium AM2 was increased)in the intestinal flora. In short, the Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil has the effect of reducing body weight, body fat,and improving blood fat in obese mice, but the effect is related to the dose, below a certain level,it will have no significant effect.Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil can also change the bacterial structure and function of obese mice. The substitution of 50% of Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil will make the structure of bacteria close to that of normal mice and exert weight-reducing and lipid-lowering effects. The effect of weight loss and lipid-lowering diets in which all lard is replaced by Cinnamomum camphora seed kernel oil may be related to the reduction of short-chain fatty acids or changes in some of the bacterial populations.
