With the development of the world's economy,the competition in all industries become intensify,lead to high pressure of cost.With the circumstances and the pressure for future developent,the manufacturing enterprises are facing thecompetition pressure and test,and the complex problems will be more and more.As the world's advanced production management system,lean production has helped many companies achieve systematic production improvement.P company is a fortune 500 chemical company,the main products are all kinds of coatings,such as car coatings,industril coatings,building coatings,packaging coatings,powder coating etc.the company is committed to be the word class coating supplier,there are more than 10 plants in China.But as the market competition is intense,the development of other coatings industry,company are facing cost pressure and the inventory pressure,the change of customer demand is becoming more and more quickly,the management is more difficult than before.In this situation,the company needs to develop lean production,reduce inventory and cost through the implementation of lean production system,and improve customer satisfaction.Here taking P company as an example to comprehensive study on the P company's production mode and analyze the logistics problems through theoretical research combined with the practical application,and found that the P company's current production site 5s management level is low,WIP and inventory is high.Through the implementation of 5S,improve the management of the production shopfloor,then improve the logistics status of the company through the implementation of value stream map and kanban pull system;Through participative lean,SMED and TPM to improve the P company shopfloor and logistics management,keep cost reduction and inventory reduction.At the end,summarized the results and shortage of the research,provides a direction for the future develop,at the same time,All related data are collected in the actual improvement,it will be helpful for relevant enterprises to promote lean production.
