In today's society,under the concept of “light decoration and heavy decoration”,people are paying more attention to the use of furnishings to improve the interior space environment when they decorate the interior space.At present,the ecological damage to the environment is becoming increasingly serious and the timber resources are becoming increasingly scarce.Bamboo has become a modern display with its green environmental protection,hard quality,beautiful appearance,low cost and short growth cycle,and the continuous improvement of the technical level of making bamboo products.Another new choice in product design.The use of bamboo furnishings can effectively adjust the color of the indoor environment,and can also increase the level of indoor space.So that the unique interior space;Furnishings of different materials,space for people feel different,create a different space atmosphere.People's ever-increasing material and cultural needs and continuous improvement of aesthetic consciousness,traditional bamboo products can no longer meet the aesthetic needs of people today,for which we must explore a new design.Chengdu,Sichuan is one of the most important production areas of bamboo materials in China.This paper mainly focuses on the art design of bamboo products.Through the research and analysis of the design methods of bamboo products,it proposes the traditional bamboo product furnishings design and the current bamboo product furnishings design.The relationship between the two points out the opportunities and challenges encountered in the development of modern bamboo furnishings design.And with Chengdu Luodai Guzhen area in traditional bamboo products in the layout of the design process and methods,and further with the needs of modern society.This thesis takes the relationship between Chengdu Luodai ancient town space planning and bamboo furnishings as research points,and starts from the use of ancient town planning,space design,and bamboo furnishings design to understand the relationship between traditional bamboo product furnishings and the characteristics of bamboo itself.The design has refined the artistic features of traditional bamboo furnishings and summarized the current design of bamboo products.In the process of improving design,we must solve the problem of combining traditional Chinese "bamboo culture" and "bamboo spirit" with modern design in the design of modern furnishings,summarizing new design principles related to the design of bamboo products,and ultimately inheriting traditions.The design principles of bamboo culture and bamboo spirit create products that meet the aesthetic needs of contemporary people and establish a new image of bamboo furnishings.
