Unsym-dimethylhydrazine(UDMH)is one of the main fuel of Chinese space rocket.UDMH and its nature degradation products is highly toxic.And difficult to remove from the water.Since1968 china find the way to product UDMH,even the waste water has many solution,but none of them is suitable for industry use at space launching base.With the launching active become more and more frequently,the waste water and its pollution become more and more seriously.And it’s important to find an efficient and low cost way to solve the waste water.In this paper,the UDMH wastewater is processed by the catalytic oxidation method,use the CuO/Al2O3 as the catalyst and oxygen as the oxidant.Study the reactor conditions at a micro-tubular fixed bed reactor.Experimental results showed that,when the reaction temperature is380℃,the catalyst mass is 10g,the oxygen flow rate is 3 L/h,the waste feed rate is 0.3 mL/min the UDMH treatment effect is best.After treatment of these conditions,the product of 6‰UDMH wastewater can be achieved the national standards of aerospace industry release standard except formaldehyde.On the basis of the above experiments and the the industrial requirements,use Aspen plus software calculated the design parameters of heat exchange and steam status of the volume is 500 L/h and concentration of 6‰of UDMH Wastewater.Based on the results made a primary industrial plan.Then calculated and designed the heat exchanger and reactor.
