Comparative Study Of Costume Modeling Of Hui'an Women In Dazuo Village And Xiaozuo Town

Hui'an women,located in Hui'an County,Quanzhou City,Fujian Province,are descendants of the Chinesized Baiyue ethnic group.Their traditional costumes have unique cultural deposits and folk-custom characteristics.The costume of Hui'an women is roughly divided into two types,of which one is the costume of Hui'an women in Dazuo Village represented by Chongwu and Shanxia and one is the costume of Hui'an women in Xiaozuo Village represented by Jingfeng and Xiaozuo.The costumes of Hui'an women in Dazuo Village and Xiaozuo Town are different,have its own characteristics and are of great research value because of the influence of early traffic inconvenience,poor cultural transmission,aesthetic difference and other subjective and objective factors.This paper embarked on protecting the traditional clothing design of Hui's women,conducted the textual criticism analysis on the traditional clothing collection through the on-the-spot investigation of Dazuo Village and Xiaozuo Town and sorted out ethnic origin of the Han marginal group Hui'an women and development process of costume modeling of Hui'an women in Dazuo Village and Xiaozuo Town combined with the historical documents,etc.The paper divided the centenary change of costume shape of Hui'an women in both places into the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,1930s-1950s andafter-1950s,analyzed the characteristics of the costume shape of each stage,compared the costumes of Hui'an women in Dazuo and Xiaozuo and finally summed up the rules and characteristicsof the costumes in both places in the evolution:The costumes of Hui'an women in Dazuo Village and Xiaozuo Town are based on complying with the environment,evolved by following the law of shape falling andhave different emphasis on the decoration techniques.The costumes of Hui'an women in Dazuo Village are mainly dominated by embroidery and embellishment decoration,while the costumes of Hui'an women in Xiaozuo Village are mainly dominated by trimming decoration.This difference is influenced by geographical environment,historical culture,aesthetics and subjective and objective factors.Through the collection,analysis and summary of garment accessories of Hui'an women in both places,the costume culture of Hui'an women is recorded for reference,so as to provide more pictures and articles for researchers studying the costume culture of Hui'an women.
