As the last feudal dynasty in China, the Qing Dynasty's clothes left a deep impression on the world. At that time, the prevailing robes, jackets and mending clothes also became the representatives of traditional Chinese clothing in the eyes of many foreigners.France, far under the rule of the Bourbon Dynasty in Western Europe,as the most prosperous country in Europe at that time, its clothing has the representative characteristics of European clothing.Based on abundant literature, this paper takes the 18th century French Rococo style aristocratic women's clothes and Qing Dynasty court women's clothes as the main research objects, through the way of contrast, shows the differences of women's clothes between the two countries, and discusses the corresponding aesthetic differences between China and France. Finally, this article shows innovative design with elements which extract from the Chinese and French women's clothing structure, fabric, color and decorations of the comparative content. There are fundamental differences between Chinese and Western clothing in history. The clothing of Qing Dynasty is mainly composed of plane, while the French clothing is mainly made of three-dimensional shape. The difference between plane and three-dimensional is not only in the clothing structure, but also in the clothing technology, hair ornaments and shoes. Both women in the two countries have the beauty of multiple layers of clothing, clothing contains women's physical and ideological constraints. In the 18th century, the Chinese style that swept Europe was the Rococo Chinese style that had been processed by European aesthetics, which embodied the great influence of exotic sentiment on Rococo art.The Qing Dynasty robes and the fluffy French skirts show completely different costume modelling, but express similar beauty.
