| National culture is the symbol of a country and a nation,and national costume is an important part of national culture,as well as an important symbolic content of national culture.The Imperial Qing Dynasty Tribute Painting can provide a glimpse of the costumes of the early inhabitants of Taiwan,which has the value of understanding the costumes of the early inhabitants of Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty.This paper comprehensively applies the literature research method,image analysis method,comparative analysis method,combined with ethnology and anthropology,takes the 26 costumes of Taiwan’s first inhabitants painted in the Imperial Qing Dynasty Tribute Painting as the object,analyzes the styles,colors,patterns and fabrics of the costumes of Taiwan’s first inhabitants during the Qianlong period.Meanwhile,This paper makes a comparative analysis of the costumes of Taiwan’s ancestors drawn in the Imperial Qing Dynasty Tribute Map and the traditional costumes of Han people,and sorts out the development clues of the costumes of Taiwan’s ancestors.The article mainly consists of the following parts:(1)Introduction to the Imperial Qing Dynasty Tribute Map and the basic information of the first inhabitants of Taiwan,including the geographical environment and living habits of the first inhabitants of Taiwan;(2)Sort out the clothing information of Taiwan’s indigenous people before the Qing Dynasty in ancient book images,including the clothing customs,clothing materials,etc.mentioned in the county annals.At the same time,conduct a systematic two-dimensional mutual verification between the clothing information of Taiwan’s indigenous people in the Imperial Qing Dynasty Tribute Map and the information in ancient books;(3)Extracting image information,analyzing the patterns,style structures,colors,and fabrics of 26 Taiwanese indigenous costumes drawn in the Imperial Qing Dynasty Tribute Map,and further studying and analyzing the textile techniques behind them.This part is the core content of the paper;(4)This paper analyzes the causes of the characteristics of the clothing of Taiwan’s first residents from both internal and external aspects,including their physical geography environment and products,production and lifestyle,foreign trade and cultural exchanges,and further explains the changes of clothing culture of Taiwan’s first residents.(5)Study the styles,patterns,and patterns of some clothing,and use CLO3 D software to restore one set of clothing for male and one set of clothing for female residents of Taiwan in the Imperial Qing Dynasty Tribute Map.Through the above research,we get the following innovative views:(1)The ethnic origin of the first inhabitants of Taiwan is Baiyue,and the costume culture of the first inhabitants of Taiwan has the characteristics of Baiyue culture.In the past,it was commonly introduced that the ancient Yue people used to "broken hair and tattoos",tattooing,lack teeth or ink teeth,and the main clothing features are the full-length jacket and cylindrical skirt.(2)During the Song Dynasty,there were frequent exchanges between the mainland and Taiwan,but until the early Qing Dynasty,the former inhabitants of Taiwan had not been Sinicized and their costumes had not changed greatly.Afterwards,a large number of Han people migrated to Taiwan,the colonial rule of Holland and Spain,the rule of Zheng Chenggong after the recovery of Taiwan,the management of the Qing government,It laid a solid foundation for the subsequent large-scale Sinicization and the integration and communication with the Han culture.During this period,the clothing of the former inhabitants of Taiwan absorbed a large number of Han clothing elements.(3)On the one hand,the development and change of clothing of the former inhabitants of Taiwan were influenced by the local natural environment and production mode;on the other hand,their clothing was greatly influenced by the Han clothing culture during the long-term communication with the Han ethnic group.In the early period,the clothing of the first inhabitants of Taiwan was primitive and developed slowly.Later,with the change of production mode and social change,their clothing changed accordingly.However,the development of different tribes was extremely unbalanced.(4)The early inhabitants of Taiwan should be good at weaving,weaving the exquisite Dago pattern that both the Dutch and the Han people compete to buy.Later,in the process of communication with the Han people,the exchange of woven fabric with high production efficiency is relatively simple and relatively low cost,and gradually give up the self-woven fabric. |
