In the process of natural gas exploitation and pipeline transportation,natural gas often contains impurities,such as solid particles and droplets,resulting in the damage of power equipment and instruments panel.In natural gas purification plant and long distance pipeline compressor station,filter is applied to remove impurities from natural gas.Because of the wide range of gas sources in natural gas pipeline,there are multiple complex conditions,such as sudden dust,liquid and mixture etc.Therefore,it is necessary that the filter has a good ability to deal with different complex conditions,which means it has high dust holding capacity and stable filtration efficiency.According to the complexity of gas conditions and solid particles and droplets appearing alternately in filter entrance,a set of filter experimental evaluation equipment is used to simulate gas-solid and gas-liquid mixing and alternate filtration process.Meanwhile,industrial filter is used as the object of research.The aim of the experiment is to discuss the influence of the droplets and liquid on filter to pressure drop during gas solid filtration.At the same time,scanning electron microscopy is used to analyze the surface morphology of the filter in different stages,providing the basis for the study of the pressure drop.The results show that during solid-liquid-gas filtration,when the ratio of droplets and solid is in a certain range in inlet gas,the growth rate of pressure drop can be reduced,which means the droplets in gas can effectively inhibit the pressure drop during gas-solid filtration.When using liquid containing filter in gas-solid filtration,filtration process can be divided into two stages as initial filtration and dust filling.At initial stage,liquid containing filter can effectively inhibit the growth of pressure drop;dust filling phase is contrary.And the liquid accumulation and dust concentration can affect the growth rate of pressure drop.Due to the interaction between droplets and cake layer,droplets in gas can effectively reduce the pressure drop of the dust containing filter,and the filtering process can be divided into four stages: gas-solid filtration,cake layer shedding,droplet filling and surface filtering.And the liquid concentration will affect the gradient of pressure drop.The results provide reference for the reasonable prediction of the gas-liquid-solid filtration pressure drop and the effective methods to reduce the energy consumption,which contribute to improving the service life of the filter.
