The Research Of Hydraulic Tubing Cutter

Tubing blocking and sticking often occurs during drilling operation,it will cause greater loss if it can’t be dealt with a timely manner,this requires the correctness and validity of the processing method.The current treatment methods are chemical cutting,shaped charge cutting and mechanical cutting.Chemical cutting uses chemical agents,causing pollution to the surrounding environment easily;after shaped charge cutting,the fish top may not be structured,which has a negative impact on subsequent operations;the traditional mechanical cutting process is still not perfect.In order to solve this situation,this paper design a hydraulic tubing cutter.Firstly,analyzing the design requirement according to the working condition,proposing the design overall program,designing the working principle;designing the various components of anchoring unit and cutting unit.Secondly,completing calculation of the key structure of anchoring unit,optimization of slip parameters,and using ANSYS software to check the key components.Thirdly,completing the check,calculation and selection of cutting unit tool,designing the coaxial double output reducer,studying the cutting process with ANSYS and ADAMS software.Finally,analyzing the working principle of hydraulic system,designing the hydraulic schematic,completing the calculation and selection of important components,simulating the system with AMESim software.The device utilizes a ground hydraulic system to control the cutting tool,the slips can hold the device on the pipe wall,the coaxial double output reducer is designed so that the cutting tool can rotate outward and extend out of the blade to cut the tubing internally.The equipment can be employed in horizontal wells,inclined wells and other operating conditions,it is simple,operating easily and protecting the casing effectively,reducing the loss caused by cutting operation.Therefore,compared with other types of tubing cutter,there are certain advantages.It has a certain reference value to the tubing cutting operation and to promote the development of domestic tubing cutting technology.
